Flanna nodded. “I believe you.”
Those three words caught him off-guard, leaving him staring at her in wide-eyed astonishment for the space of several pounding heartbeats. Then he was moving, standing in front of her, strong hands reaching up, cupping her face, pulling her to him so that his hot mouth could devour hers.
She didn’t hesitate to respond, leaning into his lean frame as her arms went around his back. His muscles twitched beneath his t-shirt, as if he was struggling to control himself, and Flanna felt the growing hardness of his arousal pressing against her pelvis. All the while, his tongue was sweeping over hers, so hungry and demanding that she was left panting when he stopped just long enough to murmur her name. All she could think of was that she’d missed this. Missed him.
