Red is biting down on Sarah’s scarf, letting out periodic screams. With each scream, flocks of birds fly away from the willow tree crossing the lake. Sarah comforts her that the birds over the lake are a good omen. After the agony of natural birth, a baby girl emerges in Dr. Jeff’s arms.
