The day I went down to the café with Mark, Sam, and some of Sam’s friends, I didn’t expect to meet someone. Susan had told me about this girl, Anna, who was a regular, and kept saying I should come by. I felt stupid going to a café to ogle a girl I didn’t know. To be fair, I had been moaning about how I could never get a date and all my friends were sick of hearing about it. They didn’t pity me for working constantly and not having the time to meet or get to know a girl before I was off to the next project. As Mark kept saying, “You’re back in London for the next six months, so quit moaning and get moving!”
