I met Anna outside her new flat at nine thirty. She hadn’t seen the place yet and I could tell how excited she was, jumping up and down when she saw me.
We hugged briefly. “I really want to kiss you, but I’m being followed by paparazzi,” I whispered in her ear. She nodded and smiled and led me up the few stairs to the black door. I didn’t care who saw us kissing, but as we worked on this film project together, the producers might care if they caught wind, and so we waited until we were safely inside. Her lips tasted like strawberry lip balm, and her mouth was so warm and inviting. I pushed her up against the cold marbled wall and lowered my mouth to hers again. Our eyes met after our lips parted. “Hello,” I whispered.
