I could not believe my eyes when I saw my new living quarters! This was surely ridiculously expensive, and what I paid must have covered two days of living in this beautiful flat. Maria assured me it was all right. Some wonderful friends of hers owned the place, and she said that I deserved a bonus for my book sales. I didn’t even know I was in the top ten on the bestseller list until she told me. They were arranging for me to go on a small press tour in the UK soon. I figured between being involved with the filming of Chance Encounter, the press tour, and seeing Rob I wouldn’t get much writing done.
