Filming had started a week ago and left very little time for me and Rob to see each other unless he was shooting scenes. We texted each other every opportunity we got, mostly about how our day went. I was mesmerized watching him become Martin. It was weird to see him get into character like that. Before, when I just knew him from films, I didn’t understand how brilliant an actor he was. I knew he was good, but to see him transform with hundreds of people around him was amazing. The way he could go into a world of his own and act out these scripted emotions and make them feel real, just inches away from a camera lens and all of us watching him, was something else.
