Chapter 12-3

1263 Words

Anna I was in Liverpool, but apart from seeing my hotel room and a bookstore where I did a signing, I wouldn’t have known it. It was the seventh city in as many days and I was feeling groggy. Not only from all the driving from one place to another, but also because these signings and bookstore readings made me so nervous I could barely hold myself up. Before the signings I couldn’t eat anything and my stomach was in knots, and after I was completely drained of energy, ready to call it a day and sleep for ten hours. I loved the writing part of my life. It rarely entailed having to go in front of people and perform. It usually just meant having a wonderfully private life where nobody would examine you further. It made me think of Rob and all the attention he got from the media and the fans.
