Chapter FiveThe next thing I knew, I was being jostled about like a ragdoll. For one brief moment, my fight or flight instinct kicked in, and I lashed out with all four limbs, striking at whoever was gripping hold of me.
“Whoa! Watch it!” Luci squealed.
“Give one of us a black eye, and I won’t stop from giving you one back even if you are exhausted!” Keeya snapped at me, and I felt strong hands pin me to the bed.
