Chapter 2

1315 Words
DJ "DJ!" my mom yelled. "Wake up! You have school." She walked away and I lied there a little longer. I did not feel like getting up. Why should I? Because of stupid school? It’s not like I really needed it. I’m one of the best football players in the state. I plan to play in the NFL so what do I need school for? I remained in bed trying to go back to sleep. "Dejuan! Get up right this instant!" I sighed. "Yeah alright." I rolled out of bed and went to take a shower. I let the water run as I looked at myself in the mirror. Damn I'm good looking. I was tall. About six foot even with a toned body. My hair is in a messy fade because well this is the ‘it’ style. That and I actually like it. Once I was finally done admiring this gift god bestowed onto me called looks, I walked into the steamy bathroom. I forgot our water can get very hot quickly. I shrugged and hopped in. I wasted a good thirty minutes just standing in the shower before washing for another ten to fifteen minutes. I got out and dried off. I walked over to my closet to see what I wanted to wear today. I had a bunch of outfits. I may go shopping though. I was running out of things to wear. I rarely wear things more than twice. After a few minutes of looking I pulled out something and got dressed. I decided to take a picture for the net. _RichBoyDJ_ It's that pretty boy that'll take ya girl the original rich kid for life I watched as the likes began rolling in. I had over two thousand followers on **. When you look this good you expect nothing less. I grabbed my bag and walked downstairs. "Ma!" I called her. "You cooked my breakfast?" "DJ I have to be to work," she said. "But ma it's your job to make sure I eat." "Boy how old are you? You're graduating this year about to go to college. Make your own breakfast. I don't know how you'll survive the real world," she mumbled under her breath. She grabbed her bag and went to work. "And clean your room!" I sucked my teeth. My mom is the head nurse at the hospital. My dad is a heart surgeon. They both make very good money obviously. But even with their hectic schedules they were always accommodating to me and my needs. Lot of people may say I’m a spoiled brat but I just call it good parenting. My phone flashed telling me I had a notification. ❤❤Baby❤❤:Babbbbbbbby 6:56 am I stared at the message in my notification bar for a second. I left it there while I ate. After a few minutes I got tired of the cereal. There was still more than half of the bowl left but it wouldn't matter. I dumped it out and left the dirty dishes in the sink for mom to get later. I went back to my phone to answer her text. Me: What’s up? 7:10 am ❤❤Babbbby❤❤: Can you pick me up please?  My mom is being soooo unfair 7:11 am I saw her message but I didn't open it. I spent a few minutes debating which car to take. We had five cars in total and my motor cycle. I got in my car and started playing some music. I had to pick the right song before answering finally. Me: Lol what do I get in return? 7:25 am ❤❤Babbbby❤❤: Whatever you want  7:25 am Me: Alright omw  7:28 am I had no problem picking her up. I just want to be secure that I get something out of going out of my way to pick her up. We'd be late since school starts at seven thirty but who cares right? It's just school. I drove for ten minutes before I pulled up to Angel's house. She was sitting on the porch when I pulled up. She jumped up when she saw my car and rushed to the passenger's side. I unlocked the door so she can let herself in. "Hi babe," she smiled at me. She leaned over and kissed my cheek. "What's up?" I drove on to this stupid school. Angel was exactly what I wanted in a girl. For one, she was light skin. Light skin girls are more attractive to me. She stays dressed on point and her hair stays slayed. Can’t be with no bum looking chick. She has big pink lips and she's skinny with a little shape to her. We got to school completely missing homeroom. We got out and walked in together. Of course all eyes were on us. I mean who wouldn't look? We're too fine for you to not stare. "I'm going to my locker," Angel said. "Okay," I sad heading to mines. "You're not going to walk me?" she asked. I turned to her. "Why would I? You know where your locker is." I raised my eyebrow at her. "O-Oh," she said. Her face flashed something that I didn't care to figure out what it was. "See ya later babe." I kissed her forehead before finishing my trek to my locker. I looked around but didn't see Maelynn anywhere. I frowned. Where the hell is she? I always start my day off with messing with her. Whether it's her lack of clothes or the fact she's fat. I mean don't get me wrong, Maelynn could be a cute girl. If she lost about a hundred or so pounds and upgraded her wardrobe. I honestly don't know how Angel and she used to be friends. They’re complete opposites. I looked around some more for Maelynn. She wouldn't be hard to miss. But I didn't see her. The warning bell rang and I headed to class. I'll get her later. I won't see too much more of her in the morning mainly because of our schedules. For first period I have Geometry. I spend most of the class playing around with my friends. I would be failing if my parents hadn't made a pretty generous donation to the school. So answer this for me, why need school if money makes everything better? I'm not saying I have straight A's but they have enough pull to give me a c-average. For second I had to repeat English 3 since my teacher was a pain who wouldn't get with the program. For third its history and then physics. That's when I get the chance to get Maelynn. Sometimes I wonder why I treat her so bad but I just think it's because it's funny to see her so scared of me. Plus she’s an easy target. I have to admit I miss having her in lunch. That's when we could best humiliate her. Sometimes trip her or point out she could skip a few meals. Which isn't a lie. So I guess in a way we're helping her. It's pitiful seeing her stuff her face with school lunch like it's her last meal. That's the reason she's so unattractive now. Instead of scarfing down mystery meat she should focus her attention in the gym and work all of that weight off. And in culinary class I normally piggy back on her work. She doesn't dare go against me so that's an easy A. In gym it's just funny to see her struggle. And since I get away with pretty much anything, anything goes. We don’t do anything too harsh to her so as long as she stays in line, things will be fine.
