Chapter 3

Apart from the loud jingling of bells there was nothing in this world thats going to wake me up by 4 am unless the world is coming to an end. i opened my eyes how can my room mate still sleep peacefully with all this noise.

if i can't sleep she too doesn't deserve to sleep, i turned on the lights her bed was empty. where was she? is she attending a secret cult group meeting, looking for ways to kill me? i stepped out of the room bumping into miss shalom and shy in the hallway.

"good morning miss" i greeted cheerfully

she eyed me "what are you still doing in your pajamas? "

i paused for a couple of seconds and came up with the reply "i.. i just woke up"

"you have been asleep this whole time" she asked the obvious "go back into your room and change this instant"

my eyebrows knotted "change to what?" i asked "it isn't even time for school"

"change into your sportswear" she continued "i dropped it on your drawer i even asked thida to wake you up"

that b***h she didn't wake me up "i will change now"

"theres a bushy path behind the school follow the trial am Sure you will meet your mates" she paused "make sure to put on shoes cause you 'll be running"

True to miss shalom chai there was a trial behind the school only it wasn't bushy it was in a well trimmed state, they were flowers growning at both sides of the trial but none over grew its hedge. the trial was rather uphill am preety sure i son was aready showing it's streaks of light. i wondered if there were any wild animals around cause apart from the beautiful trail this place looked like a wild life reserve (not like i've seen one but i got a preety good imagination). going higher i noticed huge rocks adorning the sides of the trial by the left there was a silent flow of water. it was clearer than i expected, i looked around, how long have i been walking? yet no site of any one just a little further if i don't find anyone am going to head back cause the place is getting alot darker. i didn't have to wonder far before i stepped into a clear wide space it was a sight to behold the river was dark and ominous and the sky herald rain i felt like i was staring at the same thing only upside down. just imagine if the sun was up.

i heard a sigh and turned to face thida

"oh it's just you" she sounded disappointed.

"who else where you expecting? your werewolf boyfriend" i sneered looking around "where is everybody? "

"thought you'll never ask " she stood up from where she sat "they took the cable car back down"

i frowned "then why are you seating here? "

"i was late and the cable cars stopped because of the rain"

"wait why were you late" i mused "concidering the fact that you have long legs shouldn't you make good use of them? ".

" how i use my legs is none of your business"she snapped.

the promised rain began to drizzle abit "we have to go" i said as a matter of fact.

"how are we going to go back when the cables aren't working? " she almost barked at me "cause there is no way am running an hour down this place i would literally die".

" well you got any better plans mrs. smarty pants".

"you know we are here just by ourselves and nobody is going to blame me if you 're dead especially when they can't find your body".there was a murderous glint in her eyes.

" woah chill" i backed away from her "theres no pressure".

taking two large steps she grabbed me, shaking me hard " one day am going to really kill you".

Grrrrrrrrrrrrr.

we both froze. my eyes were like saucers "what was that.... thida-"

"can you shut up fo-"

i took off. run, run, run, run, run, run for your life, run for your life, was all i could think of as the rain fell hard on us. run am too young to die!!!!. in my panic i had taken off forgetting about the trial and thida was right behind me the ground was soft and wet and i had no trouble slipping, in i grabbed onto thida for support but instead she came crashing into me and we both rolled our way through most of the way into the stream.

"hahahahaha" thida laughed happily "oh my gosh i wished i got you on camera one minute you were there the next you were kid flash flying through the forest"

"hahaha very funny" i responded smilling inspite of myself. the rain had lessened, taking the opportunity i washed my dirty self in the stream, thida joined me but she was still laughing.

We walked the remaining way back to school. nobody paid us any sort of attention as we walked on wet and giddy from all the running. by the time we reached our lodgings hallway the clothes were damp and clung to our body, i could see the color of the brazzier thida wore.

"stop staring" thida ordered not sparing me a glance

"please" i waved her off "not like i haven't groped better breasts before"

she stoped walking "you grope girls breast? "

realising how it sounded i tried to explain "no no i mean like i only grope girls that want to be groped... you know s*x is consensual."

"you have had s*x? " she paused " with girls? ".

" yeah... i guess"

"so that means you are a lesbian?" she asked.

"am actually bi if you want to know" i offered.

she looked at me strangely, was she a homophobe? i had spoken without thinking. then she smiled

"you just gave me an idea on how to finally get rid of you as my room mate"

not the reaction i was expecting "okay so whats the idea"

"am going to tell miss chaloem chai you are a lesbian. "

i folded my arms "then what is she going to do toss me out because am a lesbian? "

she hesitated "i will tell her you were groping my breasts"

i almost laughed "she won't believe that"

"why won't she? " she challenged

i grinned "for starters you don't even have any breasts to begin with"

Luckily enough before she could grab me miss shalom and shy stepped in.

"where have you girls been? " she looked worried "both of you go take your bath i will prepare something hot for you two".

Tom ka gai was the name of the soup miss shalom and shy prepared and allow me to say this cause it's delicous

" come to think of it i haven't even tried a lot of thailand food" i told thida

she looked up from her phone "don't talk to me"

"why? you don't need to be scared homosexuality isn't communicable"

"you never know when to shut up right? " she asked the obvious.

"so" i sat up "whats your sexuality? "

"thats none of your business" she snapped.

"come on you can tell me afterall i told you mine"

"but i didn't ask you to tell me " she paused "and even if i did you could have said no"

"but i still told you so you owe me" i smiled "come on tell me who's your dream spouse"

she sighed "most preferably a prince, tall and fair"

"wow" i almost gigled "you want to marry royalty? "

she looked sharply at me "do you have a problem with that? "

"no i don't " i shrugged "it sounded more like a business proposal to me"

"business proposal or not my life is none of your business".

i considered her for a second i could have sworn we had gotten closer after running together why does she now have her guards up?.

" i don't mean to be rude"i told her "but some times its not a prince you need.
