I slammed the door in her face. Probably not the most mature of moves on my part, but I didn’t care. f**k her. f**k her and that sudden look in her eyes that was a mixture of a bunch of emotions I wasn’t interested in dealing with—Anger, which was always there when I was around, lingering passion desperate to get out, and I was pretty sure that last one was hurt. It was layered beneath the anger and her aching body, but I saw it. She wasn’t just mad that I didn’t intend to say a damn thing to her before walking away, she was also upset by it. And I was most definitely not interested in dealing with that crap. I was into the f*****g, not the relationship aspect of women.
