CHAPTER THIRTY Riley craned forward in the driver’s seat as she peered through the windshield into the night. Falling snowflakes flickered brightly in her headlights. She’d expected to be completely free of snow after they left the higher elevations near Bryce Canyon. There was none on the ground here, but these light flurries had started up just moments ago, Fortunately she could still make out the highway pavement and its shoulder to the right of her vehicle.
