LEAVING THE DARK ROOM

CHAPTER TWO

CYNTHIA'S P.O.V

I arrived at Drake's a few hour later, i was standing outside his gate staring at the huge Mansion before me compared to my home his family was very rich but I had never met his parents nor the only sibling he has. I ranged the door bell and the gates opened i wasn't shocked because i had been to his home before and the household helpers knew me as his girlfriend i walked through the garden and went for the front door, i opened the door and stepped into the hallways. the house still amazed me every time I walked in because the house was well decorated from the celling to the floor but I wasn't here to stare at his home i made my way up the stairs but i ran into one of the household help and the look she gave me sent shivers up my spine. she looked at me with so much pity, I ignored her but the feelings was still there as i made my way to his room i could hear sounds coming out of his room i wanted to turn back but I had to find out what was going on so with my heart in my throat I opened the door what I saw broke my heart I couldn't cry.

"Drake!" I screamed.

"Ring,Ring."

I jumped out of my thought when i heard my phone ringed I looked at the time it was two in the morning who could possibly be calling me, I walked to my phone to see who was calling me, it was my secretary.

"What is it Mary why are you calling me at this hour." I answered.

"Ma, i finally got a meeting set up with Mr Knightley, his secretary called to set up a date,time and location for the meeting." she replied.

"Okay, but why would you call me now you could have waited till tomorrow." I asked.

"I'm sorry ma but I was so excited because Mr Knightley has been the most hardest investor we have had to make a business proposal to, so when his secretary called me I was so excited, I am really excited to work with someone so mysterious." she said.

"It was really hard but I worked it out, anyway I call you tomorrow." I cut the phone.

Placing my phone on the table I went back to my seats before the gigantic window staring into space I fell asleep.

"Beep,Beep."

"Beep,Beep."

My alarm kept going off I really wished that someone would turn it off but then I remembered I lived alone so I got up, switched off my alarm and when about my morning rituals I went for a run, came back and had my shower and had my breakfast then I left for the office. Been the CEO of a famous fashion designing company and fashion designer myself i had to arrive at company as early as possible, arriving at my company i saw Mary running up the stairs into the building i decided to give her time to settle down before going inside.

Seating in my inside my car lost in thoughts a loud sound made me jolted i stepped out of my car only to find out another car had crashed into my car the driver got out to apologize it was a man and he staring at me saying he was really sorry but i was speechlessly staring at him he was really handsome, my phone started buzzing in my bag it was Paige calling me.

"Hello bestie, good morning why are ...."

"Where the hell are you why are you not in the company yet i have a big surprise for you." she interrupted me.

"Well i am outside i will be up stairs in a few mintues i was involved in an accident right outside the company." I answered.

"What happened, you know what settle it and come right to your office, you'll tell me what happened when you get here. I have a really good new to share with you, hurry up." she cut the call.

I turned back to face the stranger handing him my card, telling him to call me to pay for the damages I hurried into the company without even knowing his name. I rushed into the elevator and pressed the top floor button immediately the elevator door opened I got drag into a bear hug by Paige. I couldn't believe she was waiting for me by the doors she all but dragged me into my office, Mary stood to greet me but I told her later I'll call for her.

We went into my office and Paige shouted.

"I AM GETTING MARRIED."
