Chapter 6 Sounds of smooching, excited breathing and hushed, urgent voices resounded from the back of the van. Santee shoved the rearview mirror up to cut off the sight of Miri climbing all over Sam. Trees closed in tight to the tracks that led to the clearing known as Lover’s Lane. Only two other cars were parked off to the side, their springs rocking energetically. Santee parked the van at the end of the path, shut it off, and launched out the door to the word ‘Prude’ sneeringly flung at her back.
