A Face Off

“Yeah, Manav…. Haa all is good..when r u returning? Mili is waiting for u” Sidhanth utters attending the call 

“I know Bhai… I can’t miss my  doll’s  bday .. I will be back by night” Manav sounds excited 

“Milii U wanna talk to Chachu?”

“Tachuuu!!!”

“Hey Baby girl… hw r u doing ?”

“Gool… Happie Birltdayyyy mee..meee” Mily was so excited to share the news 

“Hahh..I know it doll.. we gonna enjoy a lot.." Assured Manav and their talks last for another hr

“Babaa?”

“No..Not this..Hey, let’s try that Milii” Sidhanth bought all the clothes which fit Mili’s figure with all the accessories possible as Mili chuckles seeing her Father...It’s more like, her Baba is obsessed to get her matching outfits than she is

As promised, Having bunch full of balloons along with their fav chocolate ice-cream, Mili headed back to home  enjoyed outing with her Baba Dearest

 NIGHT:

As promised, Manav make it up for the night and was warmly welcomed by his lill bee… who got busy explaining how much she missed him and all.. while sidhanth remained silent spectator enjoying his lill parrot nonstop banter but was distracted by a call and walks towards his side table to pick it up

“Hello?” Sidhnath answered an unknown no but wished by a familiar person

“Yes, Inspector Rana ?” he was confused to receive a call after so many years 

Sidhanth stood stiffing his palms … he still couldn’t able to believe what he just seen in television.. It shows a g**g of a terrorist who was responsible for a recent bomb blast got arrested and will go through further legal actions

He’s sure..She’s there over them.. His instincts were sure ..!! But How??

“Sidhnath ???” he was back to reality as he clutched to his mobile ..His throat was dry and seems difficult to utter a word

“Ji..Ji..sir”

“Now?” Sidhanth asked to confirm…

Taking a deep breath, Sidhanth moves to the living room where Manav showing toys to Mili which he bought for her…

“Manav…I need to go..be here” Sidhanth finds it hard to explain anything at that movement

“But Bhai??”

“I’ll be back soon” sidhanth answered about to turn to go but was stopped sensing gently force surrounded his legs restricting him to move further

“Babaa” sidhanth took a deep breathe calming his shivering heart

“Milii..My Love… “

 Coming to his knees, Sidhanth wrapped his arms around his lill bunny pulling softly to his chest  dropping a kiss on her temple

She has become Inseparable part of him and  he felt worthless without her around

POLICE STATION:

“Hi Sidhanth , It’s good u came ..”

“There’s nothing good about it  sir” sidhanth utters as it's getting hard to gain control over his shivering heart 

“But she wanna talk with u “ Inspector Rana replied 

“For what?? I’m not interested “

“Sidhanth  plz..  We gonna shift her.. Maybe u both can never get to see each other..so go meet her ..Ok?“ Sidhnath nodes in yes hesitantly while Inspector led him inside

After 10 min, Sidhanth took a deep breath sensing her presence behind him.. he still could sense her ..being Apart from each other, still he could sense how she keeps futzing her fingers to her cloth end whenever she’s in some worry..

her name is the only constant thing his mind and soul keep chanting as Mantra

 But, Is he really ready for this meet over with her ?? He doesn't know or doesn't want to know 

“Hw r u Sidhanth ?”  Sid closed his eyes to calm his nerves down…

Didn’t she know?? still had the audacity to enquire as everything was fyn between them

“Why do u care ?” came out his reply agitating anger from eyes as finding her sheer silence. He waited..waited for another 2 minutes to let her speak something..But It’s all silence which he greeted  within the return

“My Time is precious..!! U called me to talk..so, just go ahead “ Sidhanth utters in a cold tone which sends chills through her spine

 'Can she expect something else than his coldness after what she has done to him?'

“I ..I just want to meet her” Meera utters gathering herself after a gap of 5minutes 

“Meet who?”

“Our Daughter”

“ No…She’s not ur Daughter!!! Don’t ever say that again !!  She’s My Baby..!! Only mine!” he sounded in a deadly cold tone..she could see the possessiveness which he held on their Baby..According to him, his Baby

She doesn’t have any right to claim that child as hers whom she abounded for no reason, according to him maybe

“Ok.. I wanna meet ur baby..just for a few minutes…don’t know I could get another chance further in this life” her tone which holds power to flatter him after these many years but sensing the vulnerability in them Sidhanth heart broke into pieces  …

“What u think …will I have to consider ur request after what u have done to us?” Sidhanth spatted angrily showing his back to her

“Seriously I couldn’t..But It’s u whom I’m asking this tym..!” her voice was so calm as it froze his heart

 SIDHANTH'S RESIDENCY :

Manav opened the door as Sidhanth stepped inside ..his eyes were blank and sad .

“Bhai ..is everything ok?”

“Yeah Manav…we need to talk.. maybe after dinner” he said while Manav nodes in understanding

Soon his eyes moved towards a silent Mili who got busy watching her cartoon show unblinkingly ..It took a minute to pull on that fake smile on, as he’s sure about mili would be worried seeing slight distress on his face

“I see someone is so busy to see who has come back “ Sidhanth whispers softly against her shoulder while she just pulled him closer laying her hand around his neck subconsciously to which he chuckled caring her hairs

“Did she had her dinner?” he enquired Manav as she shows his thumps down in denial

“Milii??”

“Baaba..!! Baabaaaa!! Whoo dekoo Big Lion”  as she recognized his voice mili gives an million-dollar smile  signing him to join her in return jumping to his lap as sidhanth hugged her closer closing his eyes in content

As Mili took her own tym to finish her dinner demanding her Baba’s undivided attention which he obliques sweetly

After changing her in her night suit..Sidhanth left her with Manav as he really needs some alone time now..!! Meeting Ur love, The Hounding memories of past had taken a toll on him… he wants to scream..want to cry why is this happening to him?? Why??  He somehow managing without her ..now? why did she come back that too just for a damn one tym meeting…

Sitting on a Wooden chair, Sidhanth  signs in defeat covered his face dejectedly w feeling totally lost and messed up again…His wounds were getting fresh again

He needs answers..wanna comfort that lady who’s still playing with his feelings..why damn it ..he wants to shout and vent out his frustration out but there’s no one he can do that on …

Suddenly sensing a lill palm on his trousers, Sidhanth looks down to see His Mili who staring at him innocently as she never ever seen him like this dejected state before

“Yeah baby?” he asked masking a smile while Mili somehow climbed into his lap, her tiny palm cupped his face as she stares at him calmly

Mili : “Babaa…Sadiee?”

Sid : “Nehi..Baba is not sad  Babyy”

“Mili Meri Jaan..Go back to Chachu..I’ll join u within 2 min...Baba has a lill work” sidhnath managed to say caring her lill shiny locks as snuggled to him sliding in his arms. Mili buried her head on his shoulder while she wrapped her lill arms around his neck slowly patting there… Words were unspoken but emotions did..Assuring she’s there for him..Mili stayed still in her father’s lap offering an open hug to her Baba which he needed the most at that time

Sidhnath was taken back..how fast kids can observe others and can understand the inner turmoil without even a word uttered

couldn’t hold himself back, Sid tightened his grip on his lill bird closing his eyes as tears were making their way out..but in silence .. he knows He has His Biggest Strength in his arms..His Mili !!

JAIL:

 Seated on a wooden bench, Meera smiles in the silence as she got to see 'Love of  her Life' after 2 deadly long yrs

There’s nothing about him has changed except the shine in his eyes .. His Muscles looks more toned in that blue sweatshirt he was wearing 

There are few things about a man you learn by living with him..Like How Sidhanth never took off their wedding ring... Even now!! when he seems too serious then he’s thinking of something that gives him the pain..  when he talks in small sentences biting his lips frequently then it means something is poking him inside .. When he talks attentively while meeting your orbs time to time gently rubbing back side of ur palm would mean he’s showing his strong belief and support for u .. whenever he cracks his neck secretly in shy then, he’s flirting with you and most importantly he bonds with people very sooner and can never bear farewells for sure…

Gloomy is Alien to Sidhanth as he never would leave a chance to make his environment and people around to be chilled with his Amazing sense of humor

Though he holds everything inside him. His anger, misery, love, happiness everything  but the divinity in his smile will never get fades off

He doesn’t change a bit. I should be happier? Or hurt? To the fact that everything remains the same as before with him..except the shine which he lost bcoz of the pain caused by her… and it reflects the fact that His Love for her still exists in his heart.?!

LATE NIGHT:

“Babaa. Oudnt hissy..Milii Sheepyy” Mili Utters breaking the hug after 15 minutes of silence, she knows she has to deal with her Baba and has to engage him as she can’t afford to see his sad face again.

“Yeah, Chaloo..It’s past 11..Mili’s sleeping tym” Sidhanth took her in arms and in no time she tightened her grief around his neck as he pressed his lips on her rosy cheek

Leaning against the  headboard, Sidhanth smiled in peace as Mili rests her head on his chest climbing on him as her Baba’s long fingers were ruffling her silky hairs with much love

“Babaa… Milii’s Babaa is superman..!! Sooo Strong Hainaa?” Mili asked raising her head a lill to meet her father’s orbs

“Yes, U know why Baba is strongest ?”

“My Baba is superlmaan….”

“Nehi” Mili raised her head again to give him a confused look

“It’s becoz Baba has the strongest form with him…”

“Whoo?”

“Baba’s Mili..!! Baba is strongest as he has u Milii!” sidhanth utters in pure honesty as Mili passes a sweet smile in return resting her head on his arm calmly though she doesn’t understand his exact words…
