"Leslie! How are you, my Dear?" Grandma rose from her seat upon seeing me entering the dining room with Lander.
"G-Good evening Gran," I kissed her almost saggy cheeks and embraced her back.
Then my eyes roamed to the people already seated around the dining room. My parents and Lander's parents were present. I was not surprised that their other sibling was not here because they live abroad together with their children. Lander's two older sisters were seated beside their parents.
I stifled a small smile on them before letting go of my Grandma. Some of them smiled and some didn't.
