Love Triangles are Hell with Kids

Chapter 1

I awake by getting jumped on by the girls, laughing, and thinking this is a good way to wake their mother up. They stopped and sat down once they noticed it worked.

I roll over and see two pairs of greyish blue eyes staring back at me. "Do yall really have to wake up your loving mother like that?"

Both of them have a big smile on their face.

"well lovely momma of ours, your daughters are hungry and last time I tried to make us breakfast without your help, you yelled at me soooo... up up up!" Lilli smartly said, another trait from her father...

"alright" I said and sat up. I looked at Lilli, "I didn't yell at you.. atleast I don't remember yelling at you?"

"mama...yell... sissy" Althea blabbled

"seeeeeee momma, I had a witness!" Lilli said with a proud smile. dang, she has her little sister against me too. Geez 'my lovely two daughters' I thought

I shook my head in defent, "alright I'll go make some scrumbled eggs with ketchup, bacon & toast" I started getting up and the girls climbed off my bed. we were in the hallway, when I stopped both from going downstairs. They turned towards me.

"while I make the breakfast, you two go get dressed because yall take longer than I do, breakfast should be ready by the time yall get done. okay?" I told them while i started to head downstairs.

"yes momma" Lilli said, grabbing Althea hand and heading to their room.

The house had four bedrooms, the girls share one, their play room, my bedroom then the last one is my office or say mother cave. Only I'm allowed in it and friends, which rarely come since everyone has lives and my best friend who showed up almost every day, Katherine, recentally got married and spend most of her time exploring the kingdoms with her husband, Wade.

While I'm making the breakfast, I can hear the girls in their room running around and giggling. It's joy to my ears, I wouldn't change this for the world. Their fathers? yes. The girls? no. I birth them, I love them, I care for them & I don't regret them at all.

I finished breakfast and cleaned up. I placed the girls' food on the table and I went to stand behind the island with my plate. Guess the girls heard their plates getting placed on the table because they came running down. I love not having to call for them, they just either have good hearing or know how long it takes me to make food.

Lilli came down in a black t-shirt with flames on it and black ripped up jeans in her black high tops. Lilli had to have everything she wears matching, color wise, her hair was in a single french braid with a black bow on top.

Althea came down with her black summer dress and her black high tops. She had pig tails with two small black bows on top.

I smiled at them while they started eating their breakfast. Just amazed that they are half siblings and dress alike. Unless Lilli is the one dressing Althea, but again she loves matching colors with her big sissy. I wish I had a bond with my siblings like that but we all have our own lives, living in different places away from our toxic parents and have a little to none contact with one another. I just hope the girl's bond stay like this when they get older so they can have each other.

I washed up the plates and the girls were drawing at the table, which they both got that amazing talent from me. I turn to them and got their attention with a snap. They both stopped and looked at me.

"listen hard and listen good, I'm going to go take a shower, do not disturb me unless its a life and death sitution or if somebody knocks at the door" I said sternly, looking into both their devilish blue eyes. To test them, I asked, "If someone knocks on the door, what you suppose to do?"

"Both of us come up stairs & knock on your bathroom door, let you know and go into the play room and lock the door until you do the knock that lets us know its safe to come out" Lilli answers, like I said she was highly smart girl.

"and if yall do disobey me, and open the door... what happens?"

"no play.. trouable" Althea managed

"good girls, alrighty see yall in a few mins" I said and gave them both forehead kisses before disappearing upstairs.

I ran my water and turned on the shower part, the steam already started to take over the room. I took off my clothes and stepped in, man pure hot showers were my favorite. Of course, I start to go into my thoughts while cleaning my hair and body. Flashbacks to when me and Carden would take a shower together, would start, dont get me wrong, it was a blast. We goofed off, he'd help wash my hair and I'd help wash his long dirty blonde hair. We'd help wash each other's body which lead to another. atleast he took showers with me, Lucian never did. Always said our shower was not that big for the both of us.

I lended my back on the wall with my eyes closed where the water still hit me, another flashback when Carden would pin me up against the shower wall and we'd make out, eventually he'd end up touturing me. I opened my eyes and just sighed because part of me is horney now and part of me is unhappy. Showers are were I can go think and let it out. Where I can be this way, without the girls seeing their mother is depress and feeling unloved because of their fathers. I swung my hand back and hit the wall, slid down where I was sitting down on the shower floor. My head resting on my arms that are resting on my knees. The water hitting me, washing away my tears, another reason why I love showers, girls dont know I'm in here breaking down.

I finished my shower, probably been in there for almost an hour. I know I can trust the girls and trust Lilli to look after Althea while I have some momma me time.

I step into my walk in closet and start looking for something to wear, I picked out my black crop tube top with red army printed cargo pants. Picking shoes is the hard part, I had so many and after 10 minutes, I finally decided on my black studded combat boots. Also what badass outfit is complete without a back and red studded belt. I guess the girls get their fashion sense from me too. I straightened my hair and put on eye makeup, I don't like doing full on face makeup, too fake and too much time for my taste. Only thing I like people to notice is my eyes, which even without makup, people still notice my eyes and the male faes tell me "oh your eyes are beatiful, your eyes are like gem, etc."

Once I'm finished, I head back down stairs and see the girls still at the table, lost in their art making. Once I got to the bottom step, theres was a knock on the door. The girls shoot their heads to the door and then me. I put my finger to my mouth to let them know to keep quiet and quiet snapped my fingers and pointed up the stairs. They knew the drill, Lilli grabs Althea's hand and got up quietly, as they were getting upstairs, I shouted "just a minute!" I headed to the door and grabbed the knob. I waited for the playroom door to shut and 5 locks. *click*..*click*..*click*..*click*..*click*

I knew they were locked and safe in the playroom. I unlocked the 5 locks I had on the front door and prayed 'please tell me they didn't found us, not today' I thought. I opened the door and seen my cousin Raider. I took a deep breathe finally and let out a sigh of relief. I thought again because nobody comes to see us and if he got sent by my uncle then... damn not good..

"Raider? what brings you by out of the blue?" I asked, I wanted to let the girls know we are safe but I'll give it a few minute to find out information.

Raider came in so I can shut the door, I didn't bother locking it back since me and the girls were about to head out. Raider turns around and smirks.

"damn, I wish we werent cousins because I'd definitely would be all over you" he said, letting out a laugh. The jokester, atleast he thought he was. He was a lot taller then me, judging I was only 5'4 against his 6'3 tall self. He was built, had to be since he is kinda a body gaurd. His long bleached blonde hair was in a man bun and his greyish golden eyes where bright.

"Oh ha ha, funny. I'm glad we are cousin because I don't deal with guys who can't keep it in their pants unless its family." I said, rolling my eyes and going towards the fridge getting two beers out. I opened both and slided one towards him. we are standing across from each other the island at this point taking a sip.

"I was just trying to boost your mood and give you a compliment" he smirked

I rolled my eyes.. 'men' I thought. "so did uncle Smoke send you here? and if he did, why?.. what now?"

Raider took swag of his beer and set it back down.. great definitely not a good sign..

"well you want good news or bad news?" he asked "or you could ask how I'm doing instead? since we haven't seen each other since few months ago."

"good news obviously first, and we'll catch up after you tell me both news and depending on the bad news, depends on if we can catch up" I said. I took drink and motioned him to continue.

"good news, I love you to come see you!" he said with a smile.

"BS uncle Smoke sent u, try again"

"geez f**k u too, bad new which is true... night kingdom needs you... your father isn't doing too well and your the only kid that your father can trust to run things.." he said twitterling his thumbs. "I was sent to get you so my father can talk to you"

My father? wants me to come back to night kingdom? to run things? after all this time of not contacting me and the kids?

"give me a second" I run upstairs and knocked on the play room door, I heard the locked click and the door opened. I seen my two princesses and happy to see me.

Lilli grabbed her school bag and Althea grabbed her bear that her father had gave her before he left, the damage this girl has to suffer because of Lucian. ughhhh. They followed me downstairs and seen cousin Raider was there. Althea ran to him and he grabbed her and held her, atleast he loves her.

"okay so before we go see uncle Smoke, Lilli has to be dropped off ar school on the walk there" I told Raider while grabbing my bag.

"okay sounds good, why don't we fly or teleport there" he asked while we walked out the door, dumb question.

"because the girls are too young for it and I find it not fair for us to be able to those things because we come from high fae family and others can't" I said and rolled my eyes while grabbing Lilli's. First time in months, I had another person to help with the girls.

"okay momma fae, dont have to get your tong in a knot" Raider said as we started to walk on the trail to the school.

'FYI, MY TONG ISNT IN A KNOT ASSHOLE, HOW ABOUT YOU GET YOUR BALLS OUT OF A TWIST!' I mind sent to him because I didn't want the girls to hear.

He chuckled 'naw, I like my balls twisted, its..'

'TMI Raider TMI' I gagged literally the hell is wrong with guys!

We had go to the school, Lilli hugged us and ran off to class. Althea was napping in Raiders arms. The 30 mins walk to my uncle home was about done and completely quiet until...

"so just asking a simple question and just needs a simple answer" Raider started.

What now Raider? "I may have a simple answer just depending on the question that comes out that mouth of yours" I gave him a annoyed looked "better think twice about what you ask me, you already ruined my day with the news about night kingdom."

"yeah... my question revolves around that situation.. because... I know you came here to get away from the babydaddies drama mainly..." Raider is dragging out the question. I dead stopped our tracks we were 5 mins from my uncle's place and I turn to him.

"Raider stop dragging out the question and ask it, stop being a p***y and ask already." I told him, Althea looks so adorable in his arms that I can't wait for him to find someone and how little ones.

"okay first of all I mean I am what I eat and second of all.. I was tryin to ask without you getting mad or upset but.. if you do go to night kingdom and Carden or Lucian find out, because I have a feeling they will, what are to gonna do when one or both od them show up to night kingdom?" he asked

I never thought about that, I haven't had time to think about any of it because I was wanting to hear whats going on over there by my uncle. I looked at Raider whos waiting for an amswer and all I can say is..

"Raider.. I honestly have no clue... I have thought about any of this.."
