Chapter Thirteen

941 Words
Eric's Point Of View It was finally Saturday. The day of peace. Even though I was still hungover from yesterday's party. I felt like killing zombies, as I always do on Saturdays. So that's exactly what I did. Play games until my fingers hurt. Suddenly I got a friend request from 'K736K' with a message saying, "Hey, I'm shutting my account down, I wanted to give all my money and tools away. If you're missing some things, tell me and I'll send them to you." I accepted the friend request, and messaged him back. "Yes, I'm missing about 10 grand for this new gun and I need a lot more bombs." I send. A few minutes later he messages back, "Okay, I'll send them to you. But they'll take some time to transfer, so don't play any game until it's loaded." He sends. I don't reply, instead just go to the bathroom and take a pill for my headache. I use the toilet and also get a snack to eat. Walking back to the TV, I start at it in shock. All my weapons and money were gone. I went to the console and checked the messages. "First, I want you to know that I'm typing with my middle finger. Second, Thanks for the cash and weapons really worth the lie. This is only part to for karma Eric. Love K." No. f*****g. Way. Aria's Point Of View "Why did we have to go to Spain, rent a house, get a TV and an Xbox 1, take Eric's money and weapons in a game and now you want to delete the account?" Liam asks. "Because, you i***t, if Eric wanted to go the police telling them about a threat he received from a currently wanted criminal, they would check my location which is not my actual location. Then Eric has to start his favorite game all over again. Poor him." I inform Liam. "And you want to delete the account why?" He asks. "Because I want no way for him to get his things back. But before I delete it I have something to do." "And that would be?" He asks. "Why aren't you just a ball of questions today." I joke. "What is it?" He asks again. "Well, I got information of Stephanie, no much. So I went into her parents, there was no clear reason about the way her dad made his money, so I did a couple things and now I suspect that he is making drug deals to people through Xbox Live." I tell Liam. "I managed to get his user name, I'm going to add him as a friend and let Arron do his magic." I say as I type the username. I add 'D35R3U1846gs' which was honestly the stupidest name considering it literally had the word drugs in it. I instantly got excepted because K736K is a costumer of his. "Call Arron and tell him he added me." I tell Liam. "Okay." He replies as he tapes away of his phone. "Yo..... Yea he accepted...... Okay.... Bye." Liam says and hangs up. "He says unfollow him, and delete the account." Liam tells me, I instantly do as he says and shut the console off. "Let's go home." I tell Liam. "Okay." He replies. A day later we are home and finished. Once we arrived I went to Dukalin's office to talk to him. What I was surprised to see was him with a class of vodka, and I instantly know that a gang member has died. "Who?" I ask. "Aria just go home." He says in a tired voice. "Who died Dukalin?" I ask again. "Just leave." He says, his voice getting louder and lower. I knew if he was avoiding telling me then it was someone I care about. "Penny?" I ask. He shakes his head. "Just leave Aria." He says again, taking the vodka shot between his lips. "Arron?" I ask. "No, Aria. Leave now." He commands. "Agnus?" I whisper. Surprised or not, Agnus was the closest to me then all the others. He was my best friend before all of them and the most person I trust out of them. Dukalin didn't reply. He didn't move. He didn't speak, or anything. And that's when I knew that Agnus was gone. For good. Dukalin's Point Of View I didn't want to be the person to tell her. I didn't even want to see her reaction. Aria never sobbed, never made a noise, but she did cry. The tears would fall from her eyes, without a blink, without a noise or a sob. It was the worst type of crying. She wouldn't shake and her voice wouldn't sound fragile of broken when she cried, it sounded normal. But her tearstained face gave everything away. She was broken and fragile, but never dared show it. She thought crying made you weak. And she held everything back. When her parents abused her she never sobbed or yelled. When her parents kicked her out, I didn't find her sobbing in a dark alley. But there was this one time, when her brother moved away. They were inseparable, at least that's what she told me. But they were, and he disappeared. She cried that day, and when she did everything came out. The abuse. The heartbreaks. The fakes. Everything. And she didn't stop until the next day. Other then that day, she never sobbed or yelled. Aria took a deep breathe and composed herself. "Who killed him?" She asks. I didn't want to tell her. She would go crazy if she knew. "Tell me." She says angrily. "Eric."
