Eric's Point Of View...
My parents took me to dinner after the court scene. They didn't seem upset that their friends were in jail for 15 years. They kept smiling widely at me until I got freaked out and asked, "What's going on?"
"Son, have you even watched a movie where gangs are involved?" My dad asks.
"Yes." I say.
"Do you think gangs are real?" He asks.
"Yes." I answer truthfully.
"If you had the chance to be in a gang would you?" He asks.
"No," I lie, "I never want to get involved in killing, and guns and all that stuff. I'm an innocent kid, still a virgin, never swears." I continue to lie. The truth is I was in a gang.
"Son, we have cameras and microphones in the house, we've seen you f*****g girls and using 6 curse words in a 5 word sentence, I don't know how you did it, but you did. We've also seen you use a gun and knife. We've seen you smoke, take drugs. And don't think for a second we believed when you said that you had food poisoning, we knew that you snuck out with your friends went to frat party. And we know you're in a gang." Dad says all at once.
“What? Dad, all that gang stuff isn’t real. I’m still in high school, surely members need to be at least legal.” I lie. A huge part about being in a gang is knowing how to avoid suspicion and make sure that you avoid admitting you’re in a gang for as long as possible. The truth is, the gang was mostly twenty and thirty year olds, but they have a few teenagers that know how to get the job done. The really question here was, how do my parents know about the gang anyways?
"We also know, that the gang you’re in has a rule that you don't know who the gang leader is, correct?" He asks, completely ignoring my statement.
“Still not in a gang, dad." I say, crossing my arms
“I’m sure you’d like to meet the leader. Wouldn’t you?" He asks.
“If I was in a gang, then sure. But I’m not." I deny again.
"Well, you know that we took over our friend's business since they went to jail?" He asks, again ignoring me. I nod slightly, realising where my dad is going with this and answering my question about how he knew.
"The business is a gang, the gang you're in, to be exact." He says.
My father is a gang leader? My gang leader? Of the gang I'm in?
"Now, the rules will be remove only for you, since you know who we are now, but you will treat us just as you would your gang leader when we are doing business."
"As our son, you must understand that you will be taking over the gang at some point. You are highly trained, but not quite enough, you will have training everyday with your father." My mom says.
I couldn't even say anything. Gang leaders. My parents. What the actual f**k is going on?!
Suddenly I remembered Aria, "Why did they go to jail?" I ask. "Was that girl their daughter."
"Yes, let's just say that she's a big liar and managed to create fake content to prove to them she was the innocent one when in reality she ruined everything between her and her family and ran away. She's a liar and an enemy of this gang."
I nod slowly, but the video’s we saw in court flash through my mind.
"You don't have to be weird and stiff around us, we might be your gang leaders but we're still you parents." Mom says.
"Okay, I'm just going to go visit a friend for a while." I say.
"Okay, be safe" Mom says as I grab my keys and rush out of the house. I drive quickly and instantly park the car and exit it when I finally reach the address.
"Hey." I hear Stephanie's voice say. I don't reply, just take her hand and pull her up to her room. The second we were inside, I attack her lips.
Two hours later, we were naked in her bed, both lying in each other's arms. Stephanie’s head rested on my chest, both our breathes heavy.
"I love you." I tell her, the words leaving my mouth casually.
“Mhm." Stephanie moans, saying nothing more and grabbing the blanket to put on top of us.
Arias Point Of View
When the court think was out of the way, Perry, Arron, Agnus and I celebrated with some drinks. "Dukalin is going to be so happy." Penny says, as the already drunk boys nod in agreement.
"s**t! I forgot I had to meet with Dukalin today!" I say in panic. I grab my things and say good bye, to Perry, who is now singing Umbrella by Rihanna With the boys, dramatically.
I rushed into my black Bugatti and drove to the gang mansion, it seemed innocent and bright, but inside these walls are secrets, far to big for the world to handle.
I walked inside and asked the guard, "Where is Dukalin?"
"Not to be disturbed." The guard says emotionlessly.
"Okay, thanks James." I knew what "Not to be disturbed" means. It means Dukalin is fuming over something. I rush down the stairs and down the long hallway, after passing through a billion security checks, I can already hear screaming.
I entered the room and found Dukalin staring at Brent, a new member of the gang, in pure disgust. Dukalin punched Brent one more time before dropping his body to the ground.
"What did he do?" I asked.
"This son of b***h, is a double agent also working for the MidNight Gun Gang. Stupid name." Dukalin roared and spat at Brent's body.
“Traitors." I say in disgust, “They're the worst."
"No doubt." He says.
"Is he dead?" I ask.
"He wishes." He says.
I chuckle and take his phone and wallet out of his pocket.
"Oh! He has flappy bird." I say and start playing. Dukalin snatches the phone out of my hand.
"Stupid game." He says and breaks the phone in half.
"Hey, he had Candy Crush too." I fake pout.
"Shut up." He says.
"Woah, calm down." I tell him as we walk passed the security and they bow their heads in front of Dukalin.
"I can't calm down, what if there is another traitor walking among us." He says as we walk into his office. He sits at his desk with a scotch.
"Then have a test." I suggest.
"What kind of test?" He asks.
"A test of loyalty and trust towards the gang." I tell him. “You have those when they join the gang but you need to keep doing them, making sure everyone stays in line."
"I'll think about it." He says. "So, is the mission complete?" He asks.
"This morning. Surprisingly they just arrested me. And like that, they were in jail." I say.
"At least I know you would never betray me." He say taking a sip from his drink.
"Never." I say.
Dukalin was a 37 year old man, muscular and intimating. He would never dare rant, vent or open up to anyone but me. I'm the only person that saw him smile and laugh ever. He was basically my brother. When I ran away he met me and offered me a place to sleep for a while. I learn that he was in a gang pretty quick and became in it after 5 months of training with him. He was honestly the only person I can trust. But I didn't like him sexually neither did he. He wasn't looking for a relationship any time soon. Neither was I.
"Okay, I called you here, because I need you for a mission. The Ice Knives Gang are doing a trade tonight with the Midnight guns. Brent told one person in the gang, as far as we know that person didn't tell anyone, so I need you to just deal with that. His name is Seth Olins." (A/N: Does the name ring a bell? ;) )
"Yes, Dukalin." I say and walk out of his office and out of the house. I arrived at the location they're supposed to do the trade at. Dukalin send me a picture of Seth Olins and the location. I was bored and the trade wouldn't start for 20 minutes. I went to the second floor of the building and sat at the balcony, as the trade was being held in between two empty buildings in an old lifeless town at the far ends of London.
I took out my phone and started playing candy crush. Yes! Double points!
When I hear footsteps I quickly turn off the game. I look at the men in an angle that I can see them but they can't see me. "Give me the money." The icy knives gang leader said.
"Give me the weapons." The midnight guns gang leader replied.
God, they're i***t! That's not how you do a trade.
They stare at each other for awhile before everyone takes their guns out and starts point them at each other. "The money." One demands.
"The weapons." The other snaps.
I face palm myself. Idiots!
One man shot at the others leg, but missed and thats when hell broke lose, everyone started shooting the other, I took my gun out and shoot Seth in the head. That was my job and that was all it took. But of course I never stop here. I shot both gang leaders in the foot. Each gang went to their gang leaders side and picked them up, got in their cars and drive away. I smirk to myself.
I send Penny, Arron and Agnus an 'X' on our group and a car noise instantly is heard. They were in the car and stopped at the bottom. I jumped of the balcony of the second floor and onto the car roof. "Money, in the right corner. Usable weapons in the first floor of the second building.
In the twenty minutes that I was waiting I didn't just play candy crush, well I did play Temple Run too, but that's not the point. I watched the Men as they unloaded the goods into a hidden building. And the other gang hide the money under some rocks in the right corner. If I'm here to kill one person, why not getting something out of it. As Agnus and Penny get the goods, Arron goes to get the money.
I walk over to the man look through his pocket to find his phone.
"Oh! He was Piano Tiles!"
