Nora woke up and opened her eyes to find Aarav watching her.
"Why are you here?" she asked.
Aarav smiled. "Because you were thinking about me too much yesterday."
Nora : Aah..
for a moment, they stared into each other's eyes.
"Come on," Aarav said, standing up. "I’ve been waiting a long time for you."
"Okay," Nora replied.
She went to get ready, and when she walked downstairs. Aarav was already waiting for her. "I made breakfast for you," he said. "Let’s eat."
Nora sat down at the table, surprised by the spread in front of her. "You made all of this?"
"Yeah, try it," Aarav said
Nora took a bite, savoring the flavor. "Mmh, it's so good! You must have been a chef."
Aarav just smiled, looking pleased. "Is today Sunday? You don't have work, right?"
"Yep," Nora replied.
In magnus house,
Magnus was at home, scrolling through his phone, when he saw that Noah had accepted his follow request. He felt so happy. In that moment, he felt a thousand different emotions all at once.
Magnus's heart hammered against his chest, and his hands were shaking as he typed. He took a deep breath, gathered all his confidence, and sent a simple: "Hi."
A moment later, she replied: "Hi."
He quickly typed back, "How are you?"
She answered, "I'm fine, how about you?"
"I'm good," Magnus replied. He was so excited he could barely sit still.
Magnus asked, "What are you doing?"
Noah replied, "Nothing special. I'm going out for a walk."
"Oh," Magnus typed back.
"If you want, you can join me," she suggested.
"Oh, yeah, okay!" Magnus replied.
He was so excited and happy that he rushed to his room to get ready. He tried on many different outfits, wanting to look his best for her.
Magnus quickly called Elora.
"Hello, Elora? Where are you?" he asked,
"Hello! I'm at work," Elora replied. "What’s the matter?"
"Noah asked me to join her for a walk," Magnus said, "But I don’t know how to talk to her!"
Elora laughed. "Hey, don't be ridiculous."
"Please, help me!"
"Okay, okay, take a deep breath," Elora advised. "Just talk casually and try not to say anything stupid."
"Okay, I will."
"Good. Now, I have to get back to work," Elora added. "But please, Magnus—actually confess your feelings to her this time."
Magnus said, "Okay, but—"
He wanted to say more, but Elora had already hung up the phone
Aarav and Nora walking down the street, and the autumn leaves were falling gently around them.
Nora looked toward him and asked, "How did you become a spirit guide?"
Aarav replied . "I don't know."
"I heard that most spirit guides are our ancestors," Nora said, "but you’re not my ancestor. Why did you become my guide?"
Aarav simply repeated, "I really don't know."
Nora kept one earphone in while she talked. This way, people walking by just thought she was on a phone call, since she was the only one who could see or hear Aarav.
Nora asked, "Can we go grab a coffee?"
"If you want to, we can," Aarav replied.
"Okay, come on."
They walked into a cafe. Nora looked at him and asked, "What do you want to order?"
"I don't want anything," Aarav said. "I can't eat or drink anything here."
"Oh," Nora said.
She ordered a coffee for herself. As she sat down, she asked, "If you wanted to, other people could see you, right?"
"Yeah," Aarav answered.
Nora looked at him curiously. "Then why do you always hide yourself?"
Aarav said "Why would I want to show myself to others?"
Nora looked at him, "I don't know, maybe to fit in? To feel like you're actually part of this world?"
Aarav replied "I don't need to fit into their world, Nora. I only need to be here for yours."
Nora looked at him and said, "You really are a workaholic."
Aarav smiled and asked, "Why aren't you writing right now? You love to write, don't you?"
"I do," Nora replied, "but I can't focus. I have so many ideas in my head, but I just can't seem to get them on paper. I don't know why."
Aarav nodded slowly. "Maybe you just have a case of writer's block".
Nira : Ooh
Aarav suggested, "If you want to write well, you need to read more books. That will help you get new ideas."
Nora nodded, "Oh, yeah. That makes sense."
Magnus and Noah met on the street, the autumn leaves crunching under their feet. Magnus felt his nerves spike, but he smiled as he approached her.
"Hey, hi Noah!" he said.
Noah smiled back. "Hi."
They began to walk together along the tree-lined path. The air was cool, and the sound of their footsteps was rhythmic against the scattered leaves.
"It's a beautiful day for a walk, isn't it?" Magnus said, trying to steady his voice. "I'm glad you asked me to join."
"I didn't think you’d actually show up," she said, glancing at the path ahead. "But I'm glad you did. It's much better than walking alone."
They had a nice time together.
