She felt lightheaded. Sophia knew she was alive. She could hear the annoying beeping sound next to her telling her that she was, indeed, alive and her heart was beating -rapidly but it was at least doing its job.
Someone was holding her hand and something heavy was placed on her bicep. It didn't cause any pain but it made her feel a little uncomfortable.
