She walked through the silent streets, as she thought on where she'd settle for the night. Never had she felt so hopeless for quite a long time. Just again, she broke into silent sobs. If only she had a family of herself. If only her mother and father didn't abandon her. Mike. Yes Mike! An idea popped in her mind. Mike could be of help. Well she hopes he would. She took the turn to Mike's apartment, and walked further till she stood at the door step, contemplating wether to get in or not. After what seemed like forever, she press on the door bell. Within a minute, the door burst open, revealing Mike, with nothing but pants. Damn! He sure looked hot, even with his sleepy face. His eyebrows knitted in confusion. "Emily! Is everything okay?" He asked in concern, seeing as how her face is swollen, due to the amount of tears she had lost earlier. She let out a silent yelp, as more tears stream down. Mike couldn't help but pull her into his cold brod chest. He shut the door behind, as she retaliated the gesture, crying harder. He spent the next few hours, trying to console her, but she kept on crying. Later on, the crying session ended. She explained to him that the Brooks fired and threw her out of their comfort zone. "I'm sorry that happened Emily" He said, cupping her cheeks. "But look at me, I promise I'm here for you" there's nothing but sincerity lased in his voice. "Thank you" She mumbled, not even sure if he heard her, before sleep evaded her.                             •~•~•~• He went back and forth in the parlour, as he thought on where she could have gone. He had asked around and all their replies were, maybe she's at her room. He checked her room, but she wasn't there. Call him crazy, but he was freaking out. Never has he been attracted to anyone before, then why her? What's so special about her? He thought. He noticed a figure that stood behind him, so he snapped his attention back to the person. It was Nona, his grandma. Her face held a hint of sadness, making him wonder to as why she was sad. "Is everything alright Nona?" He asked, erasing the distance between them. "She's gone. She's gone Jason" She burst into silent sobs. For the past few years, she has been pretty much close to Emily. Emily had long became apart of her life. She new each and every story behind Emily's smile. She had took pity on her when she learned what she had gone through in life. From the day she learnt everything, she vowed to protect and care for her. "Is it Emily?" He asked, to which he nodded in response. So he's Nona I'd also very much close to her. He wiped off her tears and walked her too her room. He seated her down on the couch, and just like that. She began narrating Emily to him. Just as she finished, he sighed. "How on Earth could a single soul go through so much?" He said, in a hush tune. "Please Jason, promise me you'd get her home safe" She pleaded, holding onto his hand. "Promise me Jason" she said again. He nodded in response."I would Nona. I promise" He said, as a slight smile made it's way to his lips. She pulled him into a warm hug. "Thank you Jason" She appreciated. "It's my pleasure Nona. But even if I find her, I'm not bringing her back to this home" He said. Nona's eyes knitted her brows in confusion to as why he wouldn't bring her home. "Why?" "Well you see Nona. It seems like Mom doesn't like her, so her being here again, would cause more troubles" he explained. "Oh yeah! You're right" She reasoned. "Well I better get going" He stood up from the couch, taking a glance at the wall clock. It is exactly 9am in the morning. He hasn't even taken his breakfast. He didn't even feel like taking homemade breakfast, so he decided to go to the nearest cafe.                               •~•~•~• Mike and Emily are seated having doughnuts along with latte. They were both discussing about good knows what, laughing wholeheartedly. "Geez Mike! Don't you get tired of cracking jokes" Emily said, clutching onto her stomach. She can't remember the last time she laughed as much. "I sure don't" He sent a wink her way, making her blush hard. He was making have weird feelings that she couldn't describe. "We should get going" Mike announced and they stood up. Mike headed to the counter to pay, while I'll decided to wait outside. Just as she walked outside, she bumped into the person she least expected..... He took her by surprise, hugging her though as if his life depended on her. "Go Emily. I thought finding you would be that much hard, but hopefully it wasn't" He said, pulling away from the hug. She was still in shock, so nothing came out of her mouth.  "Say something, why are you suddenly quite?" He asked. "J-jason! What are you doing here?" She stuttered.  "Why don't we get back in and have a word" he suggested and just in time, Mike walked out. Mike looked between the duos, wondering what was going on. Seeing as his eyes landed on Jason's hand that was enfolded to Emily's, his hands balled into a fist. Call him jealous, but he sure was angry. "Emily is this guy troubling you?" Mike asked, to quickly nodded in a no sign. "I'm sorry do I know you?" Jason asked, sending glares to Mike. By know Emily could sense the tension between the two, before she decided to interfere. "It was nice meeting you again, but we were just leaving" She said, releasing her hold from Jason and grabbing Mike's, before they both walk away, leaving a disserted Jason Hey guys!
