Part 6 ~ Love & Dominance

Aella POV

We walked into the pack house, it is impressive and very large.

I followed my mate upstairs and saw that there were around four doors on the 3rd landing, and it was clean and neat.

I guess this is Cassius' floor.

We strode into a gigantic bedroom, a king sized bed, with pristine white sheets on it which matched the black and red walls. It also had a couch, TV, fridge, walk in closet and an ensuite. The walls had a beautiful, intricate design of nature, I can tell with one look that my mate tried his hardest to please me.

"What do you think?" he asked gently, his eyes searching mine as he studied me.

"It is gorgeous, thank you so much!" I exclaimed happily, a genuine grin on my face as my mate smiled back in return.

"Anything for you my angel," he replied, I smiled and blushed at the nickname.

We continued looking around the house and it really is nice. Cassius and I just talked, and had a nice picnic lunch together out in the yard.

I enjoyed it very much and it was getting harder and harder to deny the feelings that were growing towards my, very sweet and attractive mate.

I thought about tomorrow, school. That means time away from my mate. Luna was not very pleased and neither was I.

I got so lost in thought that I didn't register my name being called. I looked up as I ran smack bang into the middle of my mate’s chest, my eyes met Cassius’ and his eyes were tinged yellow.

I guess his wolf doesn't like being ignored, oh well he will have to suck it up the big baby. I sassed to myself as he glared at my slightly. His wolf was rising to the surface quickly, but I ignored it.

"So what do you wanna do?" He asked gruffly, a firm edge to his normally gentle voice.

"Well I am going back to the den and am going to relax, have a nice nap, eat some food. Yeah sounds like my kind of afternoon." I answered and turned to leave, but a growl stopped me in my tracks, I growled lowly back.

"Where are you going?" Cane asked, well more like growled as he studied my movements like I was the prey.

"I am going home… bud." I said sassily but slowly as if I was speaking to a child.

"No you are not!" He demanded in his Alpha tone, I didn't back down and growled right back.

Even Luna wasn’t putting up a fight, she didn't like being disrespected even by her mate.

"Bye see you some other time," I called, as I flicked my hair over my shoulder and walked away.

I saw him run towards me and I stepped aside and stuck my foot out, he tripped and went tumbling, when he got up he looked ready to kill.

Luna was still staying strong, energy pumped through me like blood and I got ready for a fight. He growled and I growled angrily back. We shifted and then we ran at each other, tackling each other to the ground.

I grabbed a certain, special spot on his neck that can kill you instantaneously if I apply just enough pressure. I applied a little bit of pressure, he stopped trying to claw me and submitted hanging his head, I gave a little growl before I released him.

I glanced at him before I bounded out of the house and ran all the way back to the den, where I shifted and got changed. I flopped down on the bed and sighed quietly, as I studied the grey, rocky roof.

I woke up the next morning with a downcast feeling in the pit of my stomach. Now I had to go to school and endure the torture of that, because most likely they had been told that I am their Alpha's mate and it wouldn’t go down well with them.

I walked out of the den and I saw a container full of freshly cooked pizza, I picked it up and packed it in my bag. A little note fell out of the top as I do this, I bent over to pick it up and read it.

I am very sorry for being a jerk and bad mate, I am just not used to being disrespected or at least Cane is not used to it I know that that does not justify my actions but i hope you can find it in your beautiful heart to forgive you. If you do I will always be waiting.

I re-read the letter a couple of times, then I put it in my bag and walked to school. I got to school and I noticed that the school was silent, as if it was just resting.

Everyone has probably gone into class. I explained to myself. I walked in grabbed my books and started towards my first period.

I walked into the class and straight away whispers came my way.

Idiots they probably think I am an omega and don't have amazing hearing. I rolled my eyes and sat down at a free seat.

The rest of the classes went the same, whispers and side looks, but sometimes if my mate’s pack members were feeling special and brave they would push me around and people would call me names.

But as soon as they started they stopped, as their eyes would fog over and they would immediately stop. Afterwards downcast look hung over them as they strode away like a little thunder cloud that followed them around all day.

At lunch after I finished my 5th slice of pizza, Casey proudly strutted over like a peacock showing off her feathers. Her posse of friends and pack members were behind her, and I groaned internally as Luna bared her teeth.

"You really shouldn't be eating that pizza you are already too fat," she stated a smirk rose on her shiny, lip stick covered lips and her friends laughed along with her.

I smiled and continued eating, savouring each bite and thinking of Cassius.

"Why are you even mates with our Alpha? He could do so much better, I heard your parents didn't even love you Ella," Casey sneered angrily, as she said this I started to see red and before any of them could make a move I grabbed her by the neck and held her off the ground.

"Never ever talk about me or my mate like that again, got it?" I growled fiercely, with a commanding tone that had her submitting.

"Yes Luna," she answered, and she bowed her head while her pack members stepped back and submitted.

I guess they all think I got this power from mating with Cassius. I thought and Luna perked up immediately.

I wouldn’t mind this, he can do us all day if he wants. Luna purred and I scowled her playfully.

You dirty, dirty wolf! I exclaimed as my cheeks heated up embarrassment. I blocked her out and turned my attention back to reality.

I picked up my container with pizza and walked away. I ended up skipping school and getting to work for some extra shifts, I worked until late and then I headed back to the den tiredly.

When I got there the stone was rolled back, I walked inside cautiously until I smelt Cassius. He was sitting on the bed, and studying the around.

"Um hey, how are you?" I asked softly, as he stood up and stepped towards me warily.

"Fine, did you get the pizza?" He replied quietly and my heart pulled for him.

"Yeah I did thanks, I loved it." I answered and smiled which he returned.

"Um do you mind if I sleep here tonight?" He asked while he looked at the floor.

"No problem," he glanced at me and I nodded in confirmation.

Even though he was a bit of a jerk, he is still so good to me and I would be lying if I said that I didn’t want him to sleep with me.

"I heard about the thing with Casey," he stated as I sat down on the bed and he settled himself beside me.

"Yeah it was fine, and I think you mean watched." I answered full on smiling as he looked at the bed embarrassedly.

"Oh um yeah, sorry I just wanted to make sure you were okay." He explained softly, as his cheeks turned a light red.

"It is alright, you are my cute, protective hamster. Come on, I'm tired let's get to bed," he shook his head at my wording of him but smiled nonetheless.

I got him to turn around while I got changed, then we laid down on the bed. He snuggled up to me and I could hear his wolf purring happily which made Luna purr as well. I fell asleep content and warm.
