This week has been true bliss. Chloé acknowledges me and we do talk. I’m getting to know her every day and I feel so lucky. I know that her favorite meal is Chicken Alfredo. Favorite color, red. Favorite show, ESPN, even though she hardly watches it.
She tells me about Sam and Scrub and that they are the only two friends she only cares about. Now, she added two more friends, Marley and Renée.
Chloé talks a lot about Sam, how they are alike. Like Chloé, Sam hates bullies and will fight for those who have been tormented. Chloé and Sam ruled their school driving out the bullies. They also get in fights, but Sam doesn’t get arrested as much as Chloé because Sam is on the softball team. Like me, Sam is attending UGA and Chloé will not jeopardize her friend’s future.
