Chaptet 4: Opportunities

Today, the boss' will have a meeting at the conference room with mr. Sato and his company...and from the elevator he came saying.." good morning beautiful..how have you been?" then i also greeted him with a smile.."im good sir." then he suddenly hold my hand and say..."i think this day for me is going to be great!" he winked.. i coulndt say a word when mr. saotome interrupted while glaring on us.."so you're here mr.sato...dont you know you're making me wait and time is running just so you know.." his voice sounds sarcastic.."oh im sorry bout that but im here now....see you around ms. inue..when mr. sato go inside, " flirting early in the morning huh! he smirked and i sense some kind of jealousy on his words..

while the meeting is going on..mr. saotome is casually glancing at me maybe he's checking on me for something...but still i just rolled my eyes and focus in tapping on my laptop for the report. then i accidentally glanced at mr. sato and winked on me..on my surprised i retracted my sight from him and there i saw a peircing gaze on me...he caught us..oh no..this going to be hell later.

when the meeting is done people are gone fast but mr. sato was still there. he face me and say.." uhm..ms.inue...here.." he gave me a peice of paper with his phone number on it. "are you free tgis weekend? maybe can i invite you to go out?" then suddenly before i even got to answer him.."she's not free this weekend, as u know..we have a busy schedule ahead and her exam days are coming..so she doesnt have any time for that.."he speak with a straight face glaring at me...but i coudnt contradict him..he's quite right about it.."im sorry about thay mr.sato..maybe some other time." and then i smiled to him.."oh i understand. you dont have to worry. but if you need something just give me a ring ok!" "sure sir"..and then he came out of the office leaving just me and mr. saotome inside. then suddenly...he grabbed me on my wrist and pinned me on to the wall...i feel the tension is rising for i know that he's angry.."what go you think your doing! missy!...didnt you think i didnt notice you two..flirting with each other while on the meeting!" he's leaning so close to me, his face is so close...i could feel his breath...but it pisses mo off when i heard him say flirting.." what are you talkimg about! he's just inviting me to go out and whats wrong with that!" "oh so your comming with that jerk if i dont intrude into your talking huh! no one gives you permission to do that!" he shouted...

"and you dont even have the right to who's going to give me permission or not!...your not even my boyfriend!" snapped!!! i said it!! oh my...,,i said it unconciously! "look i dont care about that but you are mine and i dont fuckin' give what is mine!" and after saying those words..he kissed me deeply... but im struggling to get him off but he didnt even budge..the he hugged me tightly. iwas in shock but still i cant control my heart..its beating too fast, throbbing like its out on my chest..

his arms locked around me..hugging and kissing me passionately..i became engrossed on his kiss and follow his lead..i unconsciously closed my eyes and let my feeling take over me....i cant push him away..his kisses run deep but gradually making it more sweet and gentle....when he is about to stop..he drew his face an inch of me saying...."you make me crazy kanna! you make me lose myself when im like this with you." he chase his breath while saying these holding my face while embracing me with the other hand...and then i was surprised when he said those words...what kept running in my mind..."it cant be...does he have feelings for me?!" i was confused is it for real? or is he just making fun of me?...with the shocked look of my face..."don't you ever do it again! this is your warning or i'll punish you even more!" then he went outside the office and there he left me in surprised.

after that scenario..he came to work everyday its as if nothing happened between us...but for me...he really made me notice him everytime. his looks. everytime he gaze at me...all i remember is that kiss..."ugh!!!! I can't do this anymore!!! i have focus on my studies!!! damn that jerk! how could he stole my first kiss!!! "

i was furious when i remembered it! it really is my first kiss and that jerk just stole it from me like that!....

i leave a note at the office saying i cant go to the office because of my exam week...and he granted it just after my exam days are done...he started texting me and checking upon me if im doing great with my studies...he's just like an old man!...days passed by so fast and it is the final day of my exam...when i got out from school i see someone who's waiting in front of our school standing beside a luxury car holding a bouquet of flowers...women are swirling around him and continuously taking pictures of him...i just say..woah! that's a player...while walking going through his path..i tried to avoid it because of the crowd when suddenly..."is that how you treat me after going this far...ms. inue???" when i take a glance what i see is the man whom i didn't expect to see this time...in my surprised..."b..boss...is that you??" i can't believe my eyes on what i just saw..."here..."he gently throw me the bouquet of flowers he was holding and went straight to the driving seat saying..." go inside and don't make me wait!" with a straight face...upon hearing it..i hurriedly hopped in shame i automatically covered my face for there are still people who are taking pictures of us.

while driving...i asked him..."why did you came? and what's it for?!" talking about the flowers... "why you don't like it? if not just throw it away" he says. i rolled my eyes and says "is it a crime to ask you about this!" i replied sarcastically..then he smirked... "i just came to give you your reward since you did great in school."

"oh is that so sir, do i look like a child?"

"don't pick a fight on me today. i just want to give you a reward, and even though, still you cant win.." he grind...

oh really! i just looked outside the window and be engrossed on the scenery when..."are you hungry? what do you wanna eat?" he asked me..."pasta!..." then he smirked and say.."child"... i just let him off the hook since he's the going to pay for our meal...i mean i don't have any money with me since he just kidnapped me from school and bring me somewhere that i don't know....

and then we came into an italian restaurant and ordered for a meal...after that...i saw these waitresses whispering around and intensely looking on my boss..then i have noticed i saw this other waitress inserted a piece of paper on his table napkin and handed it to him..and then..."excuse me..." he said with a deep voice..the waitress came back with a very huge smile on his face and ask my boss.."how may i help you sir.." then she bit her side lips as if she was seducing her.."i don't need this crap!" he handed the small Peice of paper to the waitress and continued " and please i want a replacement for the waitress..get lost!" then the waitress came running out..and called on a new one. i smirked and say.."do you really have to be rude like that..?"

"you really are innocent kanna....that's what i like from you.." he glanced at me with his sharp eyes as if he wants to eat me alive....and when i met his eyes...i cant look straight onto his eyes..feeling conscious of what he mean by that...my cheeks suddenly feels hot and i became more tens...the memory of him kissing me came into my mind again.. what's going on with you kanna..your acting weird again...(i said to myself) without noticing i utter those words and he heard it...

"why is that? is there something bothering you? is it from your school, or maybe at work....or if it isn't...the kiss?" he grinned while looking at me like satisfying himself. i just looked away and say.."its none of your business! don't tease me like that!"

"you really are cute!" grinning while he took the glass of wine and drink...

"just eat your food already!!!"

weeks later...im back from work and since his real secretary is on leave i took her place in and besides its our vacation...1 month will do then its our enrolment again...

i came to work early to review mr. saotome's schedule for the day...and i noticed that he will have a meeting at a resort this late afternoon...and then the elevator came..there came out the the devil..."good morning sir" i greeted him as he was approaching...but instead of replying to me..he scanned me from head to toe and then go straight into the office.."tss...jerk!" as i go pick up the papers for his sched..he called me in through intercom..then i hurriedly came to his office..when i enter the office...he was talking with somebody on the fone..so i didn't interrupt and wait until he finish talking... then he faced me..."do you have my schedule..?" "yes sir.." as i approached him to give him the papers...

" cancel all my appointments this morning and pack your things...your going with me."

"where to sir?" i asked... "we're going to the resort for the meeting and a ball at night so be prepared." i was not surprised when he told me about the resort but about the ball..it was too sudden...i don't have any clothes to wear for those kind of occation..."you can leave now...i'll give you one hour to prepare and then we'll go." i came out the door thinking what to bring...and then i came back from my desk and cancelled all his appointment for this morning.

Nozomu's POV

Its been only a week since kanna is not here..but i miss her like crazy. so when i cant take it anymore i decided to go to the university to pick her up after her exams...i bought a bouquet of flowers to congratulate her on her efforts. i know she did well coz she's smart enough. i was being excited and anxious at the same time...i don't know what to say when i see her...though im always texting her asking how she did..but still i miss her...every time i don't see her my longing for her grows even bigger. and when i spotted her walking through the alley i called her when i noticed she's going the other way...then instead of giving her the bouquet properly i just tossed it to her out of the blue...i was just like a jerk! then i brought her to a restaurant and let her have what she likes to eat and we went places...

its a good thing that ms. Laynes is on leave i have my beautiful kanna beside me..i'll enjoy her company while she's here...its my only opportunity to get more even close to her..and tonight i hope i can spend an unforgettable night with her.
