Ryan gripped the hand of his father’s tightly, trying to feel anything, anything at all, that indicated that he was coming to consciousness.
Ryan didn’t know how long he could take this as it was getting very painful to watch his father like this.
His father’s body had lost its weight, looking very thin as time went by. Ryan wished he could at least gaze at his father’s hazel eyes, which radiated power and authority one time. It would calm him down somewhat, but he will not be granted his wish this easily. Since, when was fate fair to him ever to even grant him small wishes?
Ryan let go of his father’s hand from his hold and smoothed a stray strand of hair from his forehead like usual whenever he visited his father.
