Chapter 10
Rex closed the trunk of his car after putting the last of his luggage inside. Since he knew he wouldn’t be visiting his family again for Christmas, he’d also packed presents for them so he didn’t have to spend the money shipping them. He’d also packed some snacks for himself and Jude for the road trip, but had forgotten to get some bottled water. He figured he’d pick some up on the way.
He drove the few blocks to Jude’s shop and apartment and parked at the curb in the front.
