The Beginning Ending

1000 Words
The weather was breezy, refreshing. Running around makes you feel the wind better, but also makes you feel tired and hot. As sweat dripped from my face to the ground, I heard one of the maidservants call me.       "Lady Margaret! It's time for your supper! Lady Margaret!" She shouted while I giggled. I always did love being chased by my servants. It makes me feel superior.     " *Giggle* Come and catch me if you can!" I shouted while looking back. I didn't see where I was going then I bumped into someone. "Margaret, go eat supper with your sisters now." A feminine person in front of me said. "I am sorry Mother, I will go eat my supper now." I said looking down at my tiny feet.   As I followed one of the servants to the dining area, I heard one of my sisters say, "Got scolded by mother again, peasant?" She said as if trying to embarrass me. "No, she hugged me 'cause she loves me."She rolled her eyes after hearing what I had said. A servant pulled back a chair for me and food for me.  After I finished, the servant that assisted me told me that it was time for me to study and read my books. It was my routine. Or, at least, the routine that was already planned out for me maybe even before I was even born or even made.      * 5 Years Later *  "Father, can I plan my  12th birthday? I really have a lot of ideas for it." I asked my father for permission to plan my birthday. All my sisters and even Mother and Father have done it at this age. I really want to do it.  "So, Fath-" I was going to present my ideas to him when he interrupted, "No, you may not." He responded in such a cold way. "But Father, all of you had done it. Mother, my sisters. Why can't I do it?" I asked him sadly.  "Yes, all of us may have done it, but you, on the other hand, may not." He said as if he doesn't trust me enough that I really can't plan a simple birthday. "But Father, please, let me do this. Please." I begged him but he still wouldn't let me plan my birthday.   It went on for 10 more minutes and he got tired of all the begging so he ordered me to get out of the room. I obeyed him considering that was all I could do. I saw my sisters on my way out, they were listening to our conversation. How childish. They're almost in their twenties, and yet, they are still this childish. I ignored them and came straight to my room.  "Margaret, come sit." Seeing the sight of my mother after being scolded by my father, such a bonus. I went over to sit on the chair facing the mirror and brushed my short dirty brown hair.   "Call me 'Lady Margaret' even if I'm your daughter. Calling me by my name is very inappropriate." I corrected her once in my whole life, I've always looked up to my mom. "My mistake, Lady Margaret." She said with this look on her face, it looked oddly familiar.  "Your father told me to plan your birthday. If you want to change some parts of it, I could approve of it. But only the ones that I think are necessary." She continued.  "Everything doesn't seem appropriate for you, so I won't bother. And birthdays are a surprise, and since I'm the one whose birthday is about to happen, don't you think it shouldn't only be a surprise for me but also for the guests 'cause, why not?" I sighed standing up and leaving the room to continue my studies with my sisters. I closed the door behind me. I remembered that look from a long time ago.   ' Stop it! Don't hurt her! She's your daughter... I know I kept it from you, but I only wanted to protect her from your abusive wants! Every time you come home drunk, you always beat me up! I only did what I thought was good for my daughter.'  I woke up to this bright light, I saw my sisters sitting beside me. I sat up, gathering everyone's attention. "What is wrong with you? How could you not tell us about your pregnancy! I want you to abort it now! You can't go out to the media people like that and just faint. Their gonna suspect something, and that would ruin our reputation. My reputation! Tell me, who is the father of this creature in your body!"  My father shouted at me. I was stunned, I had no idea what he was talking about at all. I wanted to ask him so badly about why he would think that, but he would only say that I'm a liar.  "Stop it, she's still tired from the fainting." My mother said. "The mother is right, you shouldn't stress her out. Here are the results of the scan, and according to it, she is pregnant since you asked me to double-check." The doctor said. "Can you figure out whose sperm it was?" One of my sisters asked.  I can't believe that they even cared about my current situation, it really shocked me to my very core. I know that it seems dramatic but, my whole life, all they did was despise me. They never wanted a new sibling because the center of attention before I was born was them.  Growing up, I was still the center of attention since they were also shocked by my existence. With that, they continued to talk about me. This is the reason why my father was very concerned about the reputation that he's built and he knew that once this gets out, everything he's built for 10 years will com crumbling down in a matter of seconds.  I still can't help but wonder what that dream was about.
