Chapter Fifteen The evening was filled with the hushed sounds of quiet, intimate conversations and soft mood music as the many diners enjoyed the relaxed, inviting atmosphere. The subdued lighting cast a warm, unobtrusive ambience over the dining room and the adjacent cocktail bar. It was made even more pleasant with delicious food, compliments of François’ excellent menu, and good wine, compliments of Sally’s small but selective wine list.
