It was meant to be another wonderful Esbat in Lunar Guardians, but everywhere seemed quiet and deserted. Although I received many calls from some packs who had started, I couldn't tell them that Lunar Guardians, the headquarters of the werewolf community, had not started yet.
Looking around, it seemed that the adoration to the Moon Goddess and the mating ball would not take place tonight since no wolf was in sight.
Silently, we walked into the elevator and soon entered Luna Sophia's suite. Sophia stood behind the window, staring at the quiet courtyard. She slowly turned when we entered the room, and I could see that she looked truly pathetic. It was obvious that she had been crying again.
