"Just bring the food to the room, Manang. Sphinxx and I will eat there later," I said to Manang when she was about to serve our food in the dining room. They immediately stopped because of what I said. Manang looked at me with a smile on her lips now.
"Did the two of you finally talk with each other now, Hija? What? How's the thing between the two of you now? Are you all right?” Manang asked me so I just shook my head.
"Ah, looks like we should get ready, Nay. It's guaranteed that it will be noisy all night later," Manang's granddaughter said, so she immediately pinched and reprimanded her. But her granddaughter still has that teasing look on her face. I just shook my head there. I don't even know if Sphinxx and I will have a peaceful talk knowing our personalities.
