"Do I look fine?" I asked her while getting ready because she was going to introduce me to her grandmother as her boyfriend.
"There's nothing you can do about your looks," she said before shrugging her shoulders at me so I couldn't help but frown. She laughed before kissing me on the cheek.
"Of course you are. My husband is just handsome," she even tried to flatter me. She didn't fail to make me smile so I just laughed at myself.
When she lets me enter their house, I feel like she slowly lets me enter her life and that makes me feel like I'm becoming someone important to her.
