Kalayaan's POV
"Are you okay now, Grandma? What do you want to eat?” I asked Lola before I brought her something to eat.
“I'm fine, Apo… Aren't your cousins coming here?” I bit my lip hard because after the incident last month they were back to drinking again especially when they found out that Lola was sick. I'm trying to understand that maybe they were worried about her and they are just trying to comfort themselves through alcohol but the thing is that they do it every day and it's really tiring to keep on asking them.
"Are you okay, Hija?" Lola asked as she held my hands because I felt like my stomach was turning upside down again.
I immediately went to the bathroom because of that. When I calm down, I immediately saw the concern on Lola's face. I just smiled at her before shaking
