Mate This Isn't The End

Episode # 8

Episode # 8:-

“Asher, how? I mean, why? Urrgh I mean this much suddenly? You don’t even know about me properly,” Skylar said in a low tone after hearing his confession.

“Sky, I don’t need years in knowing you, one thing I know that I want you only in my life, and about others things, about us, then we have our full life in knowing each other,” Asher said in a calm tone while getting up from the floor.

“You know Asher, I never felt comfortable with anyone this much early. I don’t know, but with you, I feel that I’m the happiest girl in this entire world. I don’t know what is next in my life, but for now, I want you in my life. I don’t know whether I’m rushing in saying yes to you, but for now, I don’t want to think about anything else,” Skylar said.

“So it means you are saying yes?” Asher asked with nervous expressions, on which Sky just nodded her head with a smile on her face.

Asher got a wide smile on his face. He took her in the biggest bear hug in which she was entirely in his embrace. Her feet were tangling in the air, because Asher picked her up during the hug. 

He was twirling her around. The room filled with Skylar’s giggles and Asher’s laughter.

Third Person’s POV:-

She was walking in the dark. Dry leaves were crushing under her feet. She got to know that she is walking in the jungle, but there was all dark around her. She was feeling scared, but then also she was walking and walking.

While walking, she came to one side where there was a light. She turned around and saw that behind there was night time. While in front of her was the day time. She stepped forward and came in the daylight.

She had taken only a few steps when she heard the growling sound. She turns towards one direction and found one wolf. He was brown and standing in front of her, and was growling while looking towards her.

She becomes scared and steps back, but because of one stone, she fell and that brown wolf attacked her, but before she can do anything, one pitch-black colour wolf jumped from behind and tackled down that brown wolf.

She got up and being scared stepped backwards when she felt something behind her she turns around and found one more pitch-black colour wolf standing behind her.

That wolf stares at her for sometimes and then attacked the brown wolf with the 1st black wolf.

In no time, the brown wolf was laying dead while both the black wolves were staring at her calmly. She looks towards both of them. She while staring saw towards their eyes and found love in one’s eyes while the other one had tears in his eyes.

A few seconds later, the one with tears just vanished from there towards the other side of the jungle. Before she can call him. She steps forward to call him. But something came under her foot, and she fell with a thud.

“Skylar…, Sky…, Sky, wake up,” someone called her while shaking her badly. She woke up with a jerk. After blinking her eyes for a few seconds, she saw Asher sitting in front of her. He was gazing at her with worried eyes.

“Are you okay, Sky?” Asher said while wiping sweat from her forehead.

“Umm yeah I’m fine, it’s just I saw something in my dream,” she said while getting lost in her thoughts.

“You can share it with me,” Asher whispered. On hearing Asher, Sky look towards him to say something when her sight went to his eyes, and she felt something strange, as Asher’s eyes were the same as the wolf who was staring at her lovingly.

“Sky?” Asher called her again while shaking her shoulder a little. Skylar came back in her senses, and this time she tried to not look into his eyes because she was only remembering that wolf.

“Nothing Asher, it’s just I saw...,” and she told her dream to him, but not about the eyes part as she was confused and found that thing silly. After hearing her Asher becomes stiff, but he composed himself and said it was just a dream and made her sleep again.

Both were sleeping in Asher’s room, but at a distance. She doesn’t want to sleep alone, because it scared her that what if her adopted parents came again? Asher was happy that she let him stay with her.

Asher saw her sleeping and starts thinking about her dream. He was sure that was not just a dream; it had some meaning, but for now, he thought to chuck all the thoughts and slept.

Unknown Person’s POV:-

“The time is coming when she will get to know everything,” a person said while talking to his own-self. From behind him, another shadow came and put the hand on his shoulder.

“Don’t worry, she is brave and strong enough to understand all the things, her mate will be there for her, and you know about that thing,” the shadow said to the person.

“I know it’s just I wish I could be able to save her from every t.o.r.t.u.r.e which she faced in the past, but I’m sure that now her life will be full of happiness, as Asher will be there for her in every stage of her life,” the person said to the shadow with a small smile.

“When is her birthday?” Shadow asked the person.

“After 1.5 months and then we will come in front of her till, then we will hide in shadows to make sure she is safe,” the person replied in a sad tone.

“Don’t feel guilty Adrian, it was not your fault that she had to bear all that t.o.r.t.u.r.e because you could not come in light till the time she will not meet her mate,” the shadow said to the person named Adrian.

“Amelia whatever you say, but I can’t forgive myself til my last breath that. I could not save her from getting hurt when those animals, her so-called adopted parents, beaten her like crap,” Adrian said to the shadow, who was a girl and her name was Amelia or Amie.

Adrian fell on the floor while hiding his face in his palms, Amie sat beside him and took him in a protective embrace because she knew that the guilt of not able to save Skylar was eating him from inside.
