Mate This Isn't The End

Episode # 6

Episode # 6:-

"What about the beating marks on your body?" Words slipped out from Asher’s mouth which he regretted because he saw Skylar going stiff after hearing his words. However, before he can say anything, he startled on seeing tears which starts flowing from Skylar’s eyes, as she just remembered about her pain which her adopted parents caused her.

"Hey! Hey, I’m sorry I didn’t want to offend you I’m so sorry," Asher said while getting up and walking towards her who just hugged him tightly when he kept his hand on her shoulder. 

Asher was standing in front of her, and Skylar was sitting on the couch. Her head was resting on his stomach. He was trying hard to calm her down, but she was crying incoherently.

Without wasting any second Asher broke the hug, and before Skylar can do anything, he picked her up and sat down on the couch while taking her in his embrace. Skylar didn’t realize about their position. She was busy feeling her past pain, and for now, she just wanted to forget all about her miseries.

She was sitting while hiding her face in the crook of his neck. Asher, was rocking her back and forth to calm her down. Alex was sad after seeing their mate crying like this so as Asher. He wanted to remove all her past pain with some magic, but for now, he had nothing.

"Relax Skylar! Please stop crying," Asher said to her in a soft tone, she while sniffing look towards him with puffy eyes and red nose. Asher controlled his urge to kiss her nose, which was looking like dark red cherry.

"I don’t want to remember anything," Skylar said to Asher while hiccupping badly who just nodded his head and wiped her tears softly.

"Don’t worry! I will not ask you anything, but whenever you want to share anything, you can share it with me, okay?" Asher said in a calm tone to Skylar, who just gave him a faint smile. After few seconds she realized their position on which she turned in the darkest shade of red because of embarrassment, and tried to get up, but Asher just tightened his grip on her.

"Stay," Asher said in a low voice on which Skylar look towards him, and saw some emotions in his eyes, but she couldn’t able to know that what she saw.

"Why?" She asked in a whisper.

"Don’t know, but stay," Asher said in the same tone as hers.

"Why are you doing this all Asher?" Skylar asked him the same question which she asked before eating her food, while on hearing her question Asher just closed his eyes and took a deep breath.

"I can’t explain to you anything, for now, Skylar, but one thing I want to tell you that please trust me. I’ll tell you everything when the right time will come, but for now, remember one thing that I care for you, but not because of any sympathy, I care for you as a friend or maybe more than that, and if you have 1 per cent trust on me than please don’t ask anything for now. I’m swearing on you that I will not do anything wrong with you, nor let anybody hurt you, just trust me for once if you want." Till the end, his voice was very low on which Skylar felt like he was getting disheartened.

"I trust you, Asher," Skylar didn’t know when and how those words left from her mouth, but she didn’t regret saying those words. She felt some unknown peace, building inside her heart while saying those words to that dark-eyed boy sitting in front of her.

Asher, who was a little sad, as he doubted that maybe Skylar will not trust him, but the words which came out from her mouth were enough to make him happy. He so wanted to jump in excitement, but one, Skylar was sitting on his lap and second, he can’t show his excitement to Skylar, so instead of him, Alex jumped in the excitement in his mind.

"Thank you so much, Skylar, you don’t know what your words mean to me, I promise I’ll never break your trust," Asher said in a most sincere tone which Skylar felt is real.

"Okay now come let’s go outside as you didn’t go outside from this room from last one day," Asher said while making her stand and turn towards her fully.

"Outside?" Skylar asked in a nervous tone, which was noticed by Asher who put a confronting hand on her shoulder.

"Relax Skylar, everybody, out there is very nice, but if you are not comfortable to being outside, then we will not go," Asher said with a small smile.

"I want to go out Asher, but it’s just these marks on my face what if anybody asked me about these? I don’t want to discuss this thing, for now," she said with a sad tone.

"You don’t worry nobody will ask you anything trust me," Asher said to her and at the same time he mind-linked all to not ask anything to his mate which leads her to be getting sad.

"Are you sure?" Skylar asked hesitantly.

"You said you trust me so, then don’t worry and come," by saying that Asher held her hand on which tingles again erupted through their bodies because of which Skylar made a confused face, but she ignored them while Asher felt ecstatic.

Both came out, and Skylar becomes amazed after seeing the interior of the house or better to say palace, as all the things were huge and just looking like things kept in any Palace.

"This place is beautiful, Asher," Skylar said to him while looking around, and he in return passed her a small smile and led her towards one direction. Skylar was gazing around when she heard a ting sound she looks forwards and found that they were standing in front of the elevator

"There is an elevator in your mansion?" Skylar asked in a shocked tone, on seeing her shocked face Asher chuckled a little and said,

"Yes we are having an elevator in fact elevators, in our mansion because sometimes we have to reach down urgently so to save time we use them instead of stairs," Asher replied to her and dragged her inside the elevator.

"So how many people live in this mansion or better to say mini palace," Skylar asked Asher who pressed the button of the ground floor

"Currently we are on 8th floor, which is fully owned by me as I want full privacy, and in remaining other floors we are having around 20 to 30 people who all are youngsters in which we both have boys and girls," he replied her

"Where are their families?" Skylar asked him who said that they live in the nearby houses, as this mansion or her words mini palace is like a hostel in which only youngsters’ lives, and time to time they go and meet their parents, and if anybody of them wants to live with their parents they can live with them.

While talking with each other, they reached the ground floor. When both came out from the elevator, both could easily hear the laughing and talking sounds of many people. Asher all the time was holding her hand. Asher led her towards one direction from where the voices were coming with each passing steps the voices were getting louder.

Asher stopped near one door and to Skylar, "don’t get panic."
