Okay let's hit the pavement hard with this topic. I’ll admit it’s a touchy one for sure. BUT let’s set some ground work first. How? Let’s define a few words. Yep let’s go back to school…. Luckily for you (and me) it’s only a few words two to be exact.

Miscariage and Abortion. Why these two words you’ll see in a minute in this topic I try to stay on topic so you can follow me.

Miscariage as defined by the Oxford Dictionary mean/is the process of giving birth to a baby before it is fully developed and able to survive

Abortion is defined by the Oxford Dictionary as the deliberate ending of a pregnancy

Though both are defined similarly there is one word that makes the heart difference that word is DELIBERATE. I have researched this for several years (and this is a heartbreaking topic for me and I will get into my heart on the matter later right now the facts) You can not deliberately have a miscarriage it is spontanious in it’s matter and happening YET an Abortion is planned you plan to go in and take a drug or have a procedure done. I remember having a conversation with a random stranger one day about the two. They had been talking about how years ago they had had a miscarriage they longed for that baby yerned to meet them. Later on in conversation they had floored me with the statement that if they were to get pregnant now since it’s not a good time they’d just go and get an abortion. Let me insert here without the () that if EVER any one were to consider aborting a baby that would not cause death to a mother if she carried to term (a healthy pregnancy another words) I WILL TAKE THE BABY NO QUESTIONS ASKED! I’ve longed to be a mother since I can remember and although I’ve not been in circumstances that have allowed me to endeavour on that treck (short of a long story) I would gladly take the baby and raise it as my own and would be surrounded by an AMAZING network that would come along side and lend whatever support I would need. Not to mention I have one amazing church family. (and there I went off topic sorry…..)
