THE PAST few days were a blessing. I basked in the way Rhys was obviously trying to be better. He was not kidding when he said he was going to change for me and for our kids. What happened in the past, had happened in the past. Yes, I still had my own pain and agony for the way he treated me. I was still hurt, and the bitterness would never leave my heart, but I was not going to let those feelings antagonize me and my emotions for Rhys.
