Selene walks up later in the night and she’s surprised to see the bucket gone and her body well covered. Her slippers are where it should be too, when Asher had told her to go join the maids in their bunks she refused. She knows life there would only become even more tougher and she’s not ready for that, she wonders who could have put her to bed. The last time she was tucked on bed was by her mother and she somehow feels refreshed that moment that she might have had someone who cares about her.
