"Thorkel!" Aaron was inside the room before Aurora's body hit the floor.
"What's going on?" When he saw the witch's body, he visibly paled.
They heard a sound and reflexively took their swords out. The guard who was bloodied and bruised rushed into the vast place, "My Lord! The village is on fire!"
Thorkel groaned and Elise gasped, she also bounded down the stairs 2 steps at a time.
