"I know the attack took a lot out of you." Blerim whispered against my ear and I nodded.
"Maybe we should stop to rest first." Tanner slowed down, peering over his shoulder.
"We're not stopping. I'm fine." I tugged on his fur, urging him to keep going.
We need to get back to our mates soon. We are weaker without them. I know you feel it. That attack should not affect us like this. Jinx said in my mind.
