Chapter 41

1592 Words

Sia POV Sitting at the edge of the bed, feet dangling, fingers tapping impatiently, I waited for Wesley and Dr. Alden to return with my release papers. Wyatt stayed behind to wait with me until they returned. I was grateful. His presence brought me comfort and after the revelation last night, I needed the comfort of my mate. He sat behind me rubbing my shoulders and nibbling on my earlobe. Feeling his lips on my skin was igniting my core. I wanted to give in to the urge but I was still on edge about the witch in the forest and why her mist was the same as mother’s. I needed to go talk to aunt Lithia. I glazed at the door again, willing my other mate to walk in, but he did not. I sighed loudly. How long does it take to scribble your name on some papers? Wyatt pulled me closer to him.
