Sia POV
"TANNER!" I yelled, as he snapped ferociously at Blerim’s neck.
Blerim held his own, keeping Tanner’s yapping jaws away from him. He hesitated at the sound of my voice, causing Blerim to shove him off and get free. He threw another fireball at Tanner and I intercepted, deflecting it further into the forest.
"STOP!" I commanded them both.
There was no time for this. Tanner was bleeding and I had no idea why Blerim was here or how he found me. I was careful not to reveal too much to Aunt Lithia, but I'm sure she wouldn't have said anything to him.
"Tanner, you're bleeding. Let's get you cleaned up by the stream." I walked over to him assessing his wounds.
