"Alphas, rogues were spotted heading this way. There were hardly any rogue sightings near this town, because it is located between two packs. The patrols said they seemed to be looking for something or someone…" His words trailed off as his eyes fell on me.
One of my mates growled and the other pulled me behind him protectively.
"Avert your eyes, Beta." Whiskey Mate growled out, and I knew his wolf was pushing forward by his deepened dual tone.
The Beta lowered his head and looked to the side.
"I mean no disrespect, Alphas. Will she be coming back with us?"
"Yes, she is." Vanilla Musk mate quipped, opening the door for me to get in.
"Alpha, she is a witch. You saw her earlier. Alpha Steven will not be happy about this." He rushed out nervously, not hiding his distaste for me.
"Grayson, we need to leave. I will speak to Steven." Said my other mate as he and the other protective guy got in the vehicle.
The drive back to Gold Moon was quiet and my mates were tense on either side of me.
Vanilla Musk mate had me clutched to his side, stroking my arm. No doubt enjoying the tingles that erupted at his touch. It calmed us both down. He was pissed about something more than the interruption. His eyes kept switching from hazel to glowing emerald. I knew his wolf was trying to push forward.
Whiskey Musk mate had my right hand interlocked with his and I could sense his frustration but the tingles were minimal. He seemed to be the calmer of the two but was in deep thought also. His thumb traced my knuckle repeatedly, also trying to calm himself.
The tension in the car could be cut with a knife, it was so thick. The two men at the front were the same ones from the clearing fiasco earlier. They clearly did not want me here. The one driving was the Beta for Gold Moon and the other was clearly a member to my mates' pack. The drive was short but felt longer due to deafening silence. The only sounds heard were the few times Beta Grayson cleared his throat. We pulled up outside the packhouse and there was a furious looking Alpha awaiting us. The car stopped and I was scooped up by my Vanilla Musk mate.
"Wesley, Wyatt, why have you brought that abomination onto my land? She is a -"
The growl that left my mate's chest vibrated us both. In a split second, the screaming Alpha was silenced and lifted in the air by my other mate. The driver of the car rushed over to his Alpha while the other stood protectively by our side.
"Say another word about our mate and lose your tongue." He was seething, canines barred.
The Alpha nodded slightly before being dropped to the ground.
"This abomination is happy to leave." I sneered, disgusted with his narrow-minded judgment.
Vanilla Musk mate was still holding me impossibly close. His grip on me tightened.
"Steven, this is your pack. If our mate is unwelcome here, then so are we. Just know that, if we must leave, the future of our alliance is very uncertain."
"The three of you can sort out your alliance. I am leaving. I do not know if you are Wesley or Wyatt, but please put me down."
His lips curled up into the biggest grin. Immediately, I was squished between both my mates who had the biggest grins. What crazy mates I have been blessed with. I shook my head, ignoring the magnificent tingles that were causing me to squirm. Their noses turned upward as they sniffed the air and their eyes turned black, irises rimmed with emerald green.
"I do not want this. Put me down." I lied, knowing I wanted to be with my mates.
I could not whisk away even if I wanted to because Jinx was extremely resistant. Aunt Lithia explained that with time and practice, I would be able to better control my powers once Jinx and I were fully in sync. I never understood that. Jinx and I were already one, even when her desires were sometimes unbearable for me.
"You do want this mate." He inhaled deeply, savouring my scent. "At least your body does." He whispered softly in my ears, his scent flooded my nostrils.
Who knew Vanilla Musk could be so alluring? With the mate bond firing and Jinx's lustful urges, I knew it would not be long before I gave into them. I had to fight these urges, at least until that asshole paid for taking her away from me.
My mates must have sensed my discomfort. The one holding me tightened his grip before nodding to the other. The protective warrior guy rushed ahead and Vanilla musk mate and I followed in his direction. Whiskey Musk mate stayed behind with the displeased Alpha, watching us leave.
The warrior guy drove up to us in a black SUV. My mate placed me inside and got in beside me.
"We are leaving, mate." He said, his tone serious.
Wyatt POV
I wanted to rip that f*****g Alpha to shreds for disrespecting our mate because of his traditional beliefs. I did not care what she was, as long as she would have me, I would accept her and so would our pack.
Wes, stayed behind to pacify the rogue situation but he knew I meant what I said. I was prepared to end our alliance for our mate. I knew the respect he had for Steven, and the alliance that was in place since we were pups. But he too was livid about the remark.
I was getting our mate home. He would return after he wrapped up the rogue problem.
"You cannot expect to carry me everywhere. Put me down!" Demanded my fiery mate and I took up the stairs and into the jet.
Dex was with us but the other warriors stayed behind with Wes.
I smirked, secretly loving how her voice squeaked when she was mad.
"Get used to it, mate. I'm not letting you out of my sight."
"Are you scared I will disappear?" She chuckled teasingly.
Fuck, she was beautiful. Her pink, plump lips would drive me f*****g crazy. Knight was wagging his tail and drooling over our mate.
"You are staring…uh…Wesley?" I raised my eyebrows, realizing that we still had not done our introductions.
"We have not officially met, have we mate? I am Wyatt Stone and my twin brother is Wesley Stone. We are Alphas of the Blue Lake Pack. What is your name, mate? I asked, trolling my eyes over her toned frame.
"Calling me mate, a thousand times will not make me accept you." She sniped, such a rebellious mate.
"You will accept us soon enough. And you will tell me so much more than your name, at least your wolf will." I respond knowingly.
Her eyes darted to mine immediately and I could see how shocked she was. She tried to recover from her reaction.
"My wolf? How many wolves you know can pull a disappearing trick like that?"
"You seem to have more insight on that. I'm all ears." Prompting her to explain.
"So, twin Alphas huh? How's that working out?"
I chuckled, knowing she was changing the subject.
"It has its moments. So, why were you at Gold Moon?"
"Who is the older twin?" She deflected.
"I am. Why can I sense your wolf but cannot connect with her?"
"How long is this flight?" I raised my eyebrows at her.
"Luna, I want to know everything about you, but I will not force you to tell me. In fact, as much as it pains me to say, if you want to leave when we get to our pack, I will not stop you. I just wish you felt comfortable enough to tell me something about you. I would never hurt you."
Her eyes softened but before her walls could fall, she looked away. I sighed.
"We will be landing in about 2 hours." I answered, leaning my head back with my eyes closed, trying to remain calm.
I could sense her nerves and her fear. Was she scared of me? Did she think I could possibly hurt her? Why was she on edge like this? Did someone hurt her, I would kill anyone who hurt my mate. There were so many unanswered questions. I still did not even know her name. How could I have searched for my mate for so long, only to find her and she would not even tell me her name?
I felt electric sparks erupt along my forearm as she slid her fingers over my skin. My eyes shot open to meet her sparkling blues beneath her lashes. I could get lost in those eyes.
"My name is Sia." She whispered softly.
I reached out and brushed her cheek and watched as she melted into my hand. Goddess, she was beautiful. I brushed my thumb over her luscious lips before giving into the temptation. Leaning in closer, our lips barely touching as my eyes searched her pleasingly. She leaned in further and our lips met. If I knew that kissing my mate would be this euphoric, I would have searched ten times harder than I did.
As we explored each other, lost in the haze, our tongues dancing, teeth nibbling, she reached up and gripped my shirt, pulling me into her. In one swift move, I had her on my lap, straddling me. Her chest was pressed against mine and I could feel her hardened n*****s protruding through her shirt. I slid my hand under her top, caressing her back upwards. She gasped, breaking our kiss before pulling away, not meeting my eyes.
Did I just mess up?
"Sia, I'm sorry. That was too fast."
Sia POV
The tingles that rippled through me when I felt his hands on my back, jolted me out of the trance. What was wrong with me? I have been around my mate for all of five minutes and I have already lost my head. I wanted him, strangely, a little more than I wanted my other mate. The bond was definitely stronger with Wyatt, which was strange. They were twins and I was sure they were both my mates, but something felt off with Wesley.
"Sia, I'm sorry. That was too fast." He rushed out.
Captivated by my rambling thoughts, I missed the concerning look on Wyatt's face. The truth is I wanted him badly, but I had to keep my focus. The sooner I took care of that piece of s**t, the sooner I could focus on my mates.
I cupped his cheek to ease his worry.
"Please do not be sorry. I-"
"I'm not trying to rush you. You're just so beautiful and I have wanted my mate for so long. I searched for you-" I cut off his rambling with my finger pressed to his lips.
He looked down at me cheekily and smiled, shifting slightly.
"As I was saying, I enjoyed our kiss but…I'm not ready to answer the rest of your questions yet."
"Fair enough." He smiled, lifted me off his lap and adjusted himself, clearly trying to hide the bulge against his thigh. Woah!
I was still on his lap, pretty sure that I was as red as a tomato at the moment. My body craved his touch and by the size of that bulge, he would split me in halves. But I knew I needed to get to know him first.
For the remainder of the flight, Wyatt enlightened me about his pack and childhood stories about him and Wesley. I shared that I had an aunt I was close to but he did not pry for more details. He was respectful of my feelings and I much appreciated that. The pilot announced that we would be landing in a few minutes.
There was a blacktop SUV waiting for us when we disembarked. The warrior, that I now know as Dex, hopped in the driver's seat. Wyatt opened one of the back doors, placed me on the seat, fastened my seat belt and then got in beside me on the other side. We were not too far from the airstrip. We were soon entering his territory. The land was vast with rolling hills filled with lush forestation. Small houses littered the grounds, a little way into the territory and neared a covered two-story complex that looked like a mall. There was a hospital, a school that looked to have two buildings separated by a small park and play area for the pups.
The grounds were absolutely beautiful. I found myself wanting to explore more. Jinx would have a field day, especially having been limited to exploring in her form for years.
Suddenly, you care what I think? She huffed after giving me the silent treatment.
Welcome back stranger. Where have you been?
Sia, I have supported you through everything. I have trusted your instincts even when I did not agree and yet you deprive me of the one thing that I want. The ONLY thing I have asked you for.
Jinx, I know this is about our mate, but trust me, I am doing this for us.
Trust YOU?! When you refuse to trust me. I told you that I know for a fact that our mates are nothing like that monster, but still here we are!
Jinx, you have never yelled at me before. This cannot be just about our mates? What is it? You can tell me.
It is no use. You never listen so what is the point? Just admit that you are scared. This has nothing to do with your intuition.
And with that she blocked me out, retreating into the back of my mind. I could feel her pain and longing for her mates. I was hurting her and that was the last thing I wanted to do.
I was pulled from my thoughts by Wyatt rubbing circular patterns over my knuckles with his thumb.
"Are you nervous, Sia?" His hazel orbs searched my blues.
"A little. I'm in no rush to be kicked out of another pack." He growled at my words.
"No one will disrespect you or make you uncomfortable. You are our mate and their Luna." He stated in a dual tone, unwaveringly.
"Your wolf seems to come forward a lot. What is his name?" His eyes lit up.
"His name is Knight and he is happy that you are asking about him. We are here."
We pulled up to the front of a massive, modern-designed five-story building that looked like a giant wall of mirrors. The hue of the sun reflected off the glass perfectly. I imagine the view from inside to be breathtaking. This was nothing like the castle at the Coven. The buildings in this territory are not traditional.
A tall muscular man with blonde hair and honey brown eyes greeted us as we got out of the vehicle. His aura was very strong. He was definitely a ranked member. I could not help but wonder if the pack members would be open-minded as well and not care that I was a hybrid.
They will not care about us being a hybrid. Just look at our mate, does he seem to care about traditions?
She was right. Traditional Alphas maintained a less rugged appearance. They were always in suits and they spoke like we went back in time. That disgusting Alpha that called us an abomination was very traditional. Who uses that word in this era anyway? But Wyatt was nothing like that. His tribal tattoos went from the left side of his neck, over his left shoulder and down his forearm. When I met him, he was in jeans and his shirt sleeve was cuffed by his arm. He has a man bun which I found absolutely sexy. He gives me butterflies in my stomach and makes me feel safe. Dammit! Will there ever be a time that I am not aroused around him?
Suddenly, I was pulled into a firm chest with strong arms wrapped around my waist. A threatening growl erupted. Everyone bowed their heads in submission, except me.
"MINE!" Wyatt snarled.
"Yes Alpha." They chorused.
Wyatt scooped me up bridal style and marched into the packhouse and up the stairs, taking 3 at a time up to the fifth floor. He walked into a grand room with light grey walls and dark wooden furniture, kicking the door closed behind him.
"What the hell was that abou-?" He cut me off with a searing possessive kiss.
I pulled away forcefully and stepped back from him. His eyes were glowing emerald green.
"Mate. You are Ours!" He closed the distance between us and smashed our lips together, gripping the back of my neck and deepening the kiss.
I was caught in his web. I wanted more of him but I was not sure if this was happening too fast. Should I stop him or just give in to the explosive tingles running through my body?
"Wyatt, please.." I panted.
Without breaking our kiss, he scooped me up and gently placed me on the bed. He was positioned between my legs, him still in jeans and me in leggings. The friction between us at the slightest movement and the feel of his weight on top of me caused my core to clench and spasm. I was a dripping mess.
He paused his ministrations and inhaled deeply. A low growl escaped his lips.
"f**k Sia. I can sense your arousal."
Without a clear head, I pulled him back down to me and crashed my lips to his.
"Baby, I don't want to rush you."
"You are not. Kiss me." I urged, craving his lips like a drug.
"Feisty little mate." He smirked, undoubtedly at my desperation.
The kiss was gentler than before but eager. He and his wolf were making their claim. Jinx and I belonged to them. His callous hands softly brushed the tendrils of our cheek as he deepened the kiss. He balanced his weight on one hand effortlessly as the other trailed over my body, cupping my breasts and rubbing circles over my hardened n*****s.
"Ahh!" Slipped a cry from my lips against my control. I felt him smile into my neck.
He bit down a little harder on my shoulder again but I bit down hard on my lips to prevent them from coming out. He pulled away, staring down at me with a smirk.
"Sia, don’t." He warned and pinched my right n****e. I bit down again, drawing a little blood.
"Mm." I mumbled out.
He pulled my bottom lip free and kissed away the blood.
"Do not hide your screams from me, baby."
The tingles and sparks going off on my skin at his every touch were pushing me closer and closer to the edge. His lips found my marking spot and he flooded it with kisses and nibbles. My body was humming as he started grinding deeply against my pulsing core, letting me feel his impressive bulge. As he dug and rolled his hips into me, his d**k poked at my navel. My body was vibrating at that point. Tremors rolled through me in waves.
"Let go, baby. I've got you." Wyatt's words drove me closer to the edge.
"Wyatt please… I can't". I was making no sense, my mind was fuzzy.
He sped up his thrust and I became a moaning mess, not caring how crazy I sounded. Tremors were gone, my legs were shaking and my body was contorted into an unknown angle. He had held me at this pinnacle for a while and I was ready to dive head first over the edge.
"Wyatt! f**k!" I crashed over the edge, surfing the clouds back down.
"f**k! Sia." He hissed.
I heard him grunt and his body tensed. He tucked his forehead into my neck, catching his breath. I pushed away stray hairs that fell from his man bun. He gripped my hand, getting up and heading into the bathroom. I heard the water running for a bit before he returned to scoop me up.
He tried to undress me but I refused, asking him for a private moment. He reluctantly obliged and stepped outside. I undressed and got into the tub filled with bubbles and a herbal lavender scent.
"Wyatt." I called. No response. "Wyatt!" I called louder, still nothing.
Where did he go? I did not mean for him to leave. I just wanted to get undressed and get in the tub without having his eyes on me. He made me jittery with the way he stared at me.
"Wyatt!" I tried again and nothing.
I stood up to get out the tub when the door was pushed open. I jumped from the intrusion, covering myself with my hands.
"Sia, I-" Wyatt started before quickly realizing the awkward predicament.
Moments passed and he seemed rooted in his spot, eyes drinking me in with the sexiest smirk on his face.
"Wyatt! Do you mind? Turn around!" I screamed, but he remained unphased.
"Baby, you are gorgeous. Why are you depriving my eyes?" He said, while slowly turning his back to me.
I quickly sat back in the tub and ensured I was fully covered before telling him he could turn around.
"So you just snuck in to get a peak, huh?"
"I loved the preview but no, I was bringing you clothes because it didn't look like you had much in your bag." He pointed to my bag and the dress he placed on top of it.
The room fell silent. I played with the bubbles mindlessly. Wyatt just stared at me like I was food and he was a starved wolf.
"About what just happened…" He started.
"Are we really about to have an awkward talk about it? We are adults, what is there to discuss?" I said quickly, hoping he would avoid where this topic was headed.
He sighed.
"We do not have to talk about anything you do not want. I would never force you. I just wish you would tell me something about you. Knight has been going crazy." He headed out of the bathroom, shutting the door behind him.
I felt horrible. He was upset with me. Jinx refused to talk to me. I was fighting to accept how much I wanted him. I wanted to trust him. I wanted to try and open up to someone, to him. I spent so long keeping everything so close to the vest that opening up to someone new was just the hardest thing for me to do.
Jinx, I know you are mad at me right now and it is killing me. The truth is, you're right. You have never asked for anything except to find our mate. I have found him and I am depriving you of that.
I could feel her sadness and frustration. I could hear her whimper as she started coming forward.
I will give this a try, Jinx. I will try with our mate. I will give him a chance.
Fine. Do it now, Sia. She resurfaced just as bossy as ever.
Welcome back! Jinx, I'm so sorry. Be mad at me, yell, growl, but do not leave me like that again, please. She nodded her wolf head, pawing at me eagerly.
I got out of the tub, dried off and grabbed a pair of undies from my bag and one of the robes hanging by the vanity. It was soft and plush and wrapped me generously. I grabbed my bag and the dress and walked into the bedroom.
He was sitting on the chaise with a drink in his hand. His head lifted immediately as I entered the room, his eyes never leaving me. I went and sat by him as he watched me questioningly.
"Wyatt, we should talk."
