I knew they both had questions. I would eventually have to address the elephant that had just left the room. I was still mad at them but I wanted them to explain everything to me. Jinx urging me to ask Aunt Lithia to go there and help meant there was usually more to the story. There was so much I wanted to know. I wanted to be more pissed off at them, but I missed them terribly. I chewed on the inside of my lips incessantly.
Just talk to them, Sia. Will you try it my way for a change? This is more than me wanting to jump their bones. We need them and they need us. They will help.
