CHAPTER 3: THE DREAM

I'm a type of girl that loves to sleep and hate any disturbances. I woke this morning before realising that I had already overslept ,Rumi was still sleeping beside me and we had many preparations to do to do before they take take me to school and today is Sunday, but we won't go to church today because I'm going to school . I stood up from the bed and tapped Rumi she also stood up sluggishly I told her that we woke up late she ran into the the bathroom to take her bath ,I also took my bath after her we wore our clothes, she wore a short gown but o already have constant clothes which is to either wear short and shirt or put on trousers and top so that morning I wore short and top before i finally change to the cloth I will wear to school ,when we were done we went to the sitting room to greet mum and dad, Dad was sitting in the living room reading newspaper, mum was in the kitchen cooking, Aksay was washing the car while Shaurya and Siddharth were nowhere to be found I'm sure they are still in their room and definitely not sleeping.

"Good morning Dad" I said

"Good morning Uncle" Rumi said

"Good morning darlings hope you slept well" Dad said

"Yes we slept well " we both chorused and went to greet mum

"Good morning mum" I said

"Good morning aunt" Rumi said

She came to peck and cheeks and asked us how our night went she told her we slept well and we went to Akshay and also greeted him and he greeted us when we saw that there was nothing for is to do now we went to the gym. Then I decided to do some easy exercise just for fun I wanted to tell Rumi but I noticed that she was busy with her phone and smiling to it I snuck to her back to peep at what she was to doing and to my Outermost surprise i saw that she was doing a video call with Shaurya ,I wanted to knocked her head and smash her phone on the ground ,she didn't notice I was at her back until Shaurya gave her a sign that made her look at her back she was frightened that her phone almost fell from her hand

"ooh,you scared me" She said

"I knew you were lying to me I thought I was your best friend so why did you hide it from me" I said

"Shush,can't you lower your voice" Shaurya said from the phone

"Son of a b***h" I murmured to myself

"Are you talking to me " He asked

"No, why would I even want to talk to you,I've even lost interest in doing any exercise this morning and the both of you should continue without, I can't just believe this" I said and got out of the gym

Actually it was a plan between Shaurya and I to act like that to see Rumi's reaction I knew Rumi would prove to be stubborn first but she would later come to apologize and tell me the whole story,Shaurya already told me that he had told her his feelings and she agreed and confessed that she had a crush on him right from when we were still little, he told me that new told her not to tell me about it and he wanted to see if she was going to tell me ,she was sad I could see it on her face but I had to continue according to the plan, she was even telling Shaurya that he was the one that caused the problem, he told her that he was going to handle it that she should not worry,she rang after me.

"OK fine, I'm sorry" She said

"Apology not accepted" I said

" I said I'm sorry it is Shuarya's fault,why are you now doing like this to me" She said

,"Keep your plea to yourself" I said

"OK,poorvi stop this drama I know you know about all this before Shaurya already told me" She said

"That boy is a betrayal and I feel like strangling him" I said

"Don't even try it". She said

" So you are already protecting now,before I forget he told me you had a crush on him since you were little and I didn't know about it how did you go about it" I said

"That boy is really something, well the feeling just developed all of a sudden but you know I'm not the type to approach boys" She said

"No wonder because I have never imagined that you of all people will fall in love ,it's surprising" I said

"Now that you already know can we talk about other things" She said

"Other things like what ?" I asked and suddenly remembered the message I saw on my phone

"I know you have a lot of gist, so just tell me anything" She said

As I wanted to start talking about the message, mum interrupted and called us to come and eat breakfast, so I was unable to tell her once again.

"Poorvi,Rumi come and eat breakfast is fast" Mum called

"We are coming mum" I said and we went to take our breakfast before we start the day's preparation. When we finished eating dad told us to do all the things we want to do before 2 O'clock in the afternoon because that's when they are going to take me to my school ,I went to my room and parked my load,Rumi helped me with it she gave me a necklace she bought for me and told me never to remove it I smiled and also gave her the necklace I bought for her our names were both written on the necklace.

Shaurya came to the room and gave what he bought for me ,he gave me the cloth that I've been aspiring to buy and that's is the best gift I will ever wish for before going to school but still my decision is still final if I don't like the school I will leave,they won't force me to stay. Rumi gave me me a pink dress and said I must wear it to school but I refused

"You know I don't wear this " I said

"You will have to wear it today,cause this is a very precious gift fro me and I can't allow you to go to school looking like a boy" She said. "No,I'm not going to wear it ,I will wear my black trouser and jacket" I said

"Are you seriously refusing this from me" she said pathetically

"Will you stop doing your face like that" I said

"Please,please,please,just for today" She said looking like someone that would soon burst into tears

"OK, I'll wear it just for then I won't wear it again afterwards" I said

"Yes,don't worry you will like it and I'm sure you won't want to dispose it after wearing today" She said

"I don't think so" I said

"OK ,we shall see and secondly I'll have to change this appearance you will have to put on make up" She said

"But I'm fine like this" I said

"No,I can't allow you go to school looking like that" She said

"Just do your wish and let's go and join others" I said knowing that she won't back down if I don't allow her, as we were discussing someone knocked on the door and Rumi went to open it I knew it can't possibly be any other person than Shaurya.

"Poorvi,you are not dressed yet" Shaurya said

"we'll soon be done we just want to round up this packing" I said

"You guys should be quick you know dad doesn't home with time and we still have other things to do" He said

"OK sir we will hasten up" I said and pushed him out of the room.

Rumi and I continued to park and also gusting at the same time, we were already planning to take our bath when I remembered that I forgot to tell Rumi about the message and I haven't even check the content, I decided to tell her before I forget again

"Rumi,do you remember that we played a game about truth and dare last month where you asked me to send message to an unknown number" I said

"Yes I remember, what about it ?" she asked

" The number replied " I said

"It's not a big deal just reply to his message" she said

"I just feel a little bit strange about replying the message and I've not even checked the content of the message" I said

"Don't worry it's one of those useless people, just give any reply" She said. Before we were able to check we were interrupted by dad's car he was honking, we ran to the bathroom before we realized anything, after bathing we dressed up and Rumi did my make the cloth I wore was a short pink gown it was so beautiful but not to my taste,she did my remaining dressing for me.
