Chapter 2:MY DREAM

Rumi's best colour is pink so she wore pink top and trouser, I love anything black so I wore black shirt and short and carried a cross bag and I packed my hair like the way my brothers do theirs. When we got to the living room they were already waiting for us,Shaurya's mood had lightened up already.

"You guys have already the entire day dressing" Siddhartha said

"Why are you complaining, don't you want us look pretty?" Rumi asked

I don't have the nerve to argue with you today"Siddharth said

"Enough guys ,let's go" Aksay said

We entered the car and Akshay drove us to the beach,we played and played until we were tired,we took pictures together and we had a picnic,we talked about many things,I told I was going to miss them so much. After we went to the super market to buys things for ourselves and the things I will need in school and mom also sent us to buy groceries on our way home.When we got home it was already late so Rumi had no other choice but to sleep over,we ate dinner and discussed some other things after. I needed to clear my mind so I went to the balcony. As I was sitting trying to reminisce over my second dream my third brother came.

"Why are you still awake" Shaurya asked, I was so startled to see him that I didn't know what to say

"I don't feel like sleeping" I said

"I know something is bothering you I can see it on your face ,so what's it that is making you worry so much ?" Shaurya asked

"Nothing really much,I had a strange dream and I'm just trying to figure it out "I said and let out a sign

" What's the dream all about, share it with me"Shaurya said

"Shaurya, I'm sorry for what happened yesterday I noticed you were angry I shouldn't have snubbed you,but I was angry that you all knew and kept it away from me" I said

"It's alright, I've even forgotten about it. You know that if I had told you mum will be angry so I couldn't tell you" Shaurya said

"I know but still you should have told me" I said

"I'm sorry, I know you are trying to divert my attention but I won't fall for it,so tell me the dream you had,was it good or bad" He asked

"The first one was bad it was about my first school the girls were bullying me but I fought back, and the other dream is strange neither good nor bad,I was sitting down reading when some set of girls came to look for my trouble I had stomach upset at that particular time so I was unable to fight back as I wanted to stand up and leave them there they pushed me back and slapped me I instantly felt weak as they wanted to continue flogging a guy came ,fought them and left but I didn't see his face and another thing is that I don't know the guy nor the girls I was just confused so I came here to clear my mind" I said

"Don't tell me you were so worried because of this dream" he said

"I don't know why but I had this strange feeling about the dream when I woke up that's why I'm trying to figure out what the dream was pointing at but I find it strange" I said

"It's just a mere dream, you don't have to worry yourself and I won't allow anyone to bully as long as I am alive ,they will have to face because nobody has the right hurt my cute little sister" He said

I smiled and pecked his cheek

"is that why you are so worried ?" He asked

"Not really , but I'm fine now" I said and smiled

"Of course since I'm already here you will have to cheer up" He said

" I'm fine now ,so let's talk about you" I said

"Me ?, What about me ?" He asked

"You know what I'm talking about so don't pretend" I said

"I really do not know,give me an hint" He said

"I'm talking about Rumi when are you going to tell her how you feel about her" I said

"I don't know I'm just scared she will reject me" he said

"That's the only excuse you have been giving, if you don't act fast she will soon start dating another person" I said

"I know but I don't know how to go about it" He said

"Don't worry I will teach you, you will go to her when you see that she is in a good mood tell her you have something to say to her don't behave awkward else she will consider you coward" I said

"OK, I will try my best" He said

"You will have to hasten up because today might be the last opportunity you have to tell her how you feel about her" I said

"Alright ma'am ,I've you, thanks for the advice"He said and smiled

" You know I'm going to miss you so much"I said

"I'm really going to miss you more than you can imagine but I'm sire you are going to love the hostel because I've heard a lot of good report about the school" He said

He hugged me and placed my head on his chest I felt comfortable and excited I don't know why but I just suddenly became happy we maintained that position for a period of time before Rumi came to interrupt I knew this was the best time to leave the both of the! alone so I took an excuse and left the both of the I signalled to Shaurya to do his best

"Is this how the both of you will be until tomorrow" Rumi asked

"No ,we were just trying to enjoy the breeze" Shaurya said

"Shaurya this is your chance" I whispered to him

"What are the both of you whispering to each other" She asked

"Nothing,I think I need to excuse you guys" I said and left

"Are you going to leave me alone here" She asked

I didn't reply because I know if I had I would be stalked there,I wish Shaurya could make use of that rare opportunity and tell her his feelings for her and forget about it bit he can be foolish at times he would just continue to beat around the bush and not go straight to the point that's the most annoying part about him. If he refuses to tell her now I will have to tell her !myself before it is too late ,I once asked him if I should tell her bit he rejected saying they she will think that he is coward. When I got to my room,I took a shower wore my night wear and jumped on my bed I took my phone and was browsing when I was tired I started playing a game then a message popped up on my phone it was from an unknown number,I was still wondering where it came from when I remembered that and I played a game a month ago,it was truth and dare she chose truth and I chose dare she dared me to send"I love you" to an unknown number and I did and now the person just replied I wanted to check the content of the message but I had to wait for Rumi come back but I was so eager to know the content of the message ,as I wanted to check the message ,Rumi rushed inside the room and was smiling and at the same time blushing I wanted to wait for her to tell me herself but I was so eager so I asked her what ha happened

"What happen, why are you smiling at yourself" I asked

"Nothing, just felt like" She said still smiling

" So you are telling me that you have already gone crazy"I said

"Must you know everything" she said

"I'm sorry for meddling into your affairs next time I will try it" I said and covered my head with duvet to sleep

"Ahh, you are always good at putting on an act let me tell you" She said and I jumped out from the bed

"Don't lie to me this time around" I said

" It's not even important it's about Shaurya he told me something and that's why I was smiling "She said

" What did he tell you,that was making you blush you of all people I've never seen my friend like this before "I said and was eager to listen

" He just told me something about you promise not to tell you about it so I can't betray him"She said and climbed the bed to sleep

"I knew you were not going to tell me" I said

I switched off my lamp,and covered my head with duvet Rumi also did the same I was not angry it is a normal thing between the both of us so we slept like that ,I knew she was lying to me me it seems like Shaurya had already confessed his feelings for her or he to her something else it's definitely not about me , I even forgot to tell her about the message I received and ,I smiled at myself ,encouraged myself to be prepared for tomorrow and I slept off.
