As Malcolm searched for Emily, he couldn't shake the feeling that he was being watched. The manor seemed to be alive, its shadows twisting and writhing like living things.
But Malcolm was undeterred. He had come too far to turn back now. With a sense of purpose, he made his way to the hidden room deep in the bowels of the manor.
The room was dimly lit, the only sound the soft whisper of candles. Malcolm's eyes adjusted slowly to the darkness, and he saw Emily standing in the center of the room.
She was surrounded by a circle of candles, their flames casting eerie shadows on the walls. Emily's eyes were vacant, her skin pale and clammy.
Malcolm's heart raced with excitement as he approached Emily. He could feel the entity's presence growing stronger, its power coursing through his veins.
With a sense of reverence, Malcolm began to chant the ancient words of the ritual. The air seemed to grow colder, the shadows deepening as the entity's power grew.
Emily's eyes flickered open, and she looked at Malcolm with a sense of horror. She knew what was happening, and she was powerless to stop it.
As the ritual reached its c****x, Malcolm felt the entity's power surge through him. He was consumed by a sense of euphoria, his mind expanded by the entity's dark energy.
And then, everything went black.
When Malcolm came to, he was lying on the floor of the hidden room. Emily was nowhere to be seen, but he knew that she was still in the manor.
The ritual had been a success. The entity's power had been unleashed, and Malcolm was now its vessel.
With a sense of purpose, Malcolm stumbled to his feet. He knew that he had to find Emily, to complete the ritual and seal her fate.
As he stumbled through the manor, Malcolm could feel the entity's power growing stronger. He was no longer alone, and he knew that he would never be alone again.
The darkness had consumed him, and he was now its servant.
And so, with a sense of dread, Malcolm continued his search for Emily. He knew that he would find her, and when he did, the ritual would be complete.
The horror would be unleashed, and nothing would ever be the same again.
