CHAPTER TWENTY-FOUR Boots crashed against stone with a loud rhythm as guards ran throughout the palace, roused from their sleep by the bell ringing overhead. Tyson helped Edmund stay on his feet as the three of them waited, hidden in the darkness of an unused hallway. They'd look there soon enough.
