I was rushing to get home when I bumped into Austin “whoa where's the fire” he joked oh sorry" I said breathlessly "you ok?" Austin looked at me concerned “erm yea fine thanks, are you ok?” I asked him holding my side the stitch beginning to burn “yeah as looking for you actually, I wondered if you wanted to go to the café with me?” Austin gave me one of his breathtakingly beautiful smiles that before would of rendered me speechless "erm yeah ok I just need to go and grab my phone" "you wont need that while your with me” Austin grinned linking my arm and leading me to the café, we sat down in the café the waiter coming to us promptly and ordered some food I was agitated the whole time why did I come here with him when I needed to speak to Tristan badly I was so silly “so why where you in such a rush before I hope you weren't rushing to that wolf" Austin questioned me his eyes darkened as he spoke , “I just needed to speak to someone" I muttered not wanting to tell Austin about what had happened that was going to be between me and Tristan “you ok Hazel?” Austin asked looking at me sympathetically a few weeks ago I would have longed for Austin to look at me like this but now all I could think about was Tristan “yeah everything’s fine I’m starving shall we eat!” I announced as our food arrived we ate our food with pleasant conversation Austin had tried a few times to bring up Tristan but I didn’t want to talk about it with him, when we finished I got up to leave "thank you so much for lunch Austin but my mother will be wondering where I am” I told Austin with a smile "my pleasure let me walk you home” Austin asking charmingly “ok” I replied we left the café and walked back to mine, just before we got near the house Austin stopped me grabbing my arm “Hazel I want to tell you something” he stopping looking at me with a anxious expression on his face he ran his hand through his thick blonde hair then grabbing my hand in his, I wanted to rip it straight out of his grasp but I was too polite for that “I want to tell you that I really like you, and I was hoping that you would go on a date with me?" his eyes directly on mine "oh erm Austin I’m flattered and a few weeks ago I would have jumped at the chance but I'm kind of dating someone else” I tore my eyes away from his and looked down at my hand in his wanting so badly to let go, Austin lifted my head to look at him “please tell me its not the wolf” his expression looked pained as he brushed my hair behind my ear “I like him" I whispered "well you should keep your options open, he will only use you my sweet girl, I’ll treat you like the princess you are” Austin’s voice was low and husky he moved in closer to me his face was right up close to mine now, his eyes shining in the sunlight, his golden blonde wavy hair coming forward over his handsome face “Austin I" was all I managed to stutter out before Austin crashed his lips against mine, everything in my body screamed to move away from his lips his hands felt like fire on my body I pulled away "Austin" I breathed "taken your breath away princess" he smirked "I need to go in now" I told him my heart racing not from excitement but from betrayal to my Tristan “think about that date" Austin called out to me as I walked to the house and went straight upstairs to my room closing the door behind me and leaning against it, I put my hands on my head my mind reeling from what just happened with Austin it didn’t feel completely bad but my heart told me it was wrong I knew I couldn’t see Austin in that way again unless I wanted to break Tristan's heart and I really didn’t want to do that, I got up and grabbed my phone checking it I had three missed calls from Mel and a text "where are you girl?" it read and a missed call from Tristan I pressed his name on my phone and it started ringing I would phone Mel back after “hello” Tristan's husky voice came through the phone instantly calming me “hello” I breathed "you ok baby?" Tristan asked "yeah a few things have happened and I want to see you” I told him my voice slightly cracking “ok I can be there in a hour, meet me where we always meet?” he told me “yes, will see you then" "see you then" he said hanging up the phone I knew he was busy being Alpha, I decided while I waited I would phone Mel "hey where have you been?” Mel asked "sorry I went to see Mabel then Austin wanted me to go to lunch" I told her “oh you go girl two boys on the go!” Mel laughed “Austin kissed me" I whispered "oh wow really, what are you going to do you can’t see them both?" Mel exclaimed “ it felt wrong when Austin kissed me it wasn’t like when me and Tristan kiss” I smiled to myself at the memory "well stuff Austin then he missed his chance” Mel remarked "I don’t want Austin anymore he is the past, but I have to tell Tristan what happened" I sighed knowing that wasn’t going to go down well “so what about you and Lucas?" I asked and Mel told me all about their date but her mum had found out and that he was a wolf and was going mad not wanting them to see each other “yeah and she kept going on that I should just finish it before he found his mate and dumped me” she sighed “what if you are his mate?" my voice hushed "well I don’t think so he’s not said anything and I like him but I don’t feel a pull towards him or anything" Mel sounded down “you never know you won't feel much ask him” I told her "yeah might as well otherwise not much point carrying on because he will find his mate.” Mel sighed sadly she really liked him we talked awhile longer until I was going to meet Tristan. I left the house excited to see him, my stomach danced with butterflies as I made my way to our meeting spot and saw my gorgeous Tristan leaning against a wall waiting for me he was so sexy in his dark blue jeans and simple black top, his dark wavy hair styled messily, “hey” I greeted him with a smile “hello gorgeous" he mirrored my smile "shall we go for a walk?" he asked "yeah" he went over to his car and pulled out a picnic basket “oh you brought a picnic” I squealed "yes I did I wasn't sure what you liked so the cooks put a bit of everything in” he looked at me shyly “that's ok anything would of been fine" my heart was soaring this guy thought of everything we walked hand in hand to a field behind the village Tristan set up the picnic blanket and poured us some drinks we sat and chatted awhile and I felt completely content and easy in his company “so what did you want to tell me?” Tristan asked laying on the blanket I sat up “well I went to see a lady in the village who was rumoured to have been mated to a wolf" Tristan leant up on one arm to look at me "she said that the bond between a fairy and a wolf is powerful and that is why they don’t want us being together not because they don’t think it should be done because they are scared of what we could become" I told Tristan he looked thoughtful for a moment "that would make sense as to why the white witch is after you she wants to stop us being together encase we turn out to be more powerful than she is she holds half the kingdoms in the palm of her hand they are terrified of her she wont want her reign of terror being jeopardised” Tristan was running his hands through his hair “also I bumped into Austin on my way to phone you" I paused a moment thinking if I should tell him everything I took in a deep breath “he asked me out on a date, I told him I was seeing you but he said I should keep my options open then…then he kissed me” I gritted my teeth, Tristan's eyes where closed I sat in suspense as I saw him trying to keep control, he lifted his head and let out a terrifying growl, I jumped as he opened his eyes they were red and his body had turned rigid he was intimidating aggressive, I was afraid I didn’t know what he was going to do, I knew he would be angry but I had never been afraid of him before the kiss wasn’t my fault, Tristan stood up and walked away from me he stood for a moment not looking at me, “where is he?”
