CHAPTER TWENTY-THREE Normally, Switch would be the worst prisoner ever. She’d be kicking and screaming, struggling against her bonds, snapping at her jailer, and in general acting out in the worst possible ways. Partly, this would have been to make it easier to escape her captors, but it also just would have been who she was. She never took well to having her freedom restricted by anyone for any reason and today was no different. Instead, Switch allowed Fuse to put the chains on her wrists and ankles and lead her out of her cell. She put up no real resistance and kept her mouth closed even when Fuse made a rather inappropriate joke about her when he was chaining her up.
